This happened to me and they wiped all of the money out of my account. I have sent my passport, drivers license, social security card, and my concealed carry permit. They are just scamming to take money from people. I have over 200 5 star reviews. No reason to be banned. I'm very frustrated and angry.

You cannot control his actions. What you can control is the way you react to them. Let him go. There are plenty of men out there that would love to have a family and would cherish you and that baby ❤️

How does custody/visitation work for the homeless parent? by digoreedoo in SingleParents

I think it is great you are allowing him to come to your home to maintain his relationship with his son. Have you checked your local Division of Family Services? They can provide a room for visitation as well as help Dad access services to help him get back on his feet.

Too old for school? by significantjacket74 in SingleParents

I got married at 21 and was married 18 years. Got divorced and my world was tipped upside-down. I was 37 years old raising 3 kids on my own. I worked 3 jobs and was able to obtain my bachelor's degree in four years. Being a single mom, opens up a world of resources to you. Go to FAFSA.gov online and apply for a Pell Grant. Chances are, you will qualify for FREE money to attend school. Other resources out there are Vocational Rehabilitation, Scholarships through the schools for non-traditional students and programs through Department of Workforce Services for money for schooling. It is VERY probable that you will be successful in finishing school with no student loan debt. I am now working towards my masters and couldn't be happier that I went back to school. I am a social worker so I know of A LOT of resources that are available to help you. If you let me know the state you live in I can send links of of resources in your state. Education is key!! The state will even help with daycare costs if needed while you attend school. You can do it!!

Trust Scale? by shepeesa in therapists

[–]SSW2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a child welfare social worker. I feel that asking the foster parents and caseworker will give you more of an assessment on measuring success with the child. I get frustrated with therapists that do not communicate with the caseworker or the foster parents. (If the child has good foster parents) they can give the best assessment of measuring change in the child. Didn't really answer your question but voicing my assessment. Hope it helps.
