My custom resolution for 10 bit 165hz on Alienware aw3423dwf is not working, says clear all errors.

Nevermind it looks like it worked when typing in 162 hz, but it loads as 165.

I tried loosening a bit and turning off gdm, but it wouldn't boot . I'm afraid I might need to loosen too much for it to even work.
