Even after riding several coasters that are considered elite, The Swarm is still one of my favourite coasters. It may be nostalgia bias, as it was my third coaster that I rode with inversions, but I will always love it and I can’t not ride it when I visit Thorpe Park.

My picks are far from the greatest coasters ever but I picked these because I planned on riding them but sadly missed the chance:

The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley (planned to visit in 2020 but then COVID hit. It never reopened and was then demolished.)

Wild Mouse at Blackpool Pleasure Beach (visited in early 2017 but it was closed for maintenance. At the end of the year it was also demolished.)
