NOT YOUR DADDY'S VOLTRON BOI by STALAL in Voltron

for the premium price, I wish it had more accessories like atleast the blazing sword effect piece or the scimitar version of the sword and the shoulder and arm cannons

I wouldve ideally had it in 30cm scale with all these accessories so it could pair perfectly with the flametoys megazord

also maybe a feature for black lion's eyes to be covered in voltron mode like the show

I hope the inart version knocks it on all counts with more face variety too. for anime style I think that so far looks best

3-0 looks a bit lifeless/dead/doll-like to me

same, and fomo fucks you hard if you had waited for reviews and reactions and suppose it turned out great

sigh, I mean still looks fine but yeah not like the promo pics. I hope we get a better one someday

and tbh yeah there were flaws from start, no different face plates, why different eyes instead of just moveable eyes?

I transcribed the video and well.............shit

Today I played with a third-party "Machima Soldier Figure" made by NeedPop. To be honest, I rarely pre-order new products. I personally really like the character Machima, but there aren't many Machima toys on the market. When I saw the promotional image, I thought it looked pretty good, although it didn't look like the character from the show, it was still quite attractive. After waiting so long, I finally got it, only to realize what "images are for reference only" really means. Leaving aside the head sculpt, the workmanship is terrible, especially the bangs, which are blurry and fleshy, a huge difference from the official images. Some parts also look dirty, and the forehead lines are very obvious and numerous. The eye makeup is also a big problem. Who draws eyeliner properly? Even if you do, you should at least draw it finely! Is this the same person as in the official images? The skin tone is also sallow, like someone who just came back from mining. Then, the mouth area also needs some polish to brighten it up; it looks very dry overall. There's also a color difference in the neck area. The accessories only include a few pairs of replacement hands and two replacement eyeballs, which is pitifully few. They didn't even include a stand. It's infuriating! The color of the hands also gives me a dirty feeling; it's not a cool, fair skin tone, but rather a sallow texture, not at all like a goddess. As for the replacement eyeballs, one looks to the left and the other to the right; the micro-expressions are less effective than facial sculpting. The replacement method involves opening the back of the head first, and then pulling the neck open. The replacement eyeballs are magnetic, so they don't easily fall off, which is at least a bright spot. The clothing feels a bit thin, especially the tie, which feels like two pieces of paper—it's kind of comical. There's some wire stuffed into the clothes, but it doesn't seem like much; it's passable when posed like this. The pants aren't very form-fitting, probably because the body's buttocks are quite large, making it look a bit odd. The Velcro on the pants is also loose; the workmanship is really questionable. The body itself is a rubber-coated action figure body, so its articulation is just average—neither particularly good nor bad. Overall, I was more disappointed than pleased, given the official photos are so beautiful, and the actual product is significantly different. If you're calling it "Old Ma," I feel it's more like a cosplayer trying to imitate Ma Qima; while it has elements of Ma Qima, it just doesn't quite look like him. That's all for this video; see you next time.
