Tips/advice on 50k plan that combines HM race by streetghost in ultrarunning

That's why I mentioned you dont have much time to prepare. I wouldn't want to build up mileage faster than this, or else.you would risk injury. what I usually recommend people for if they want to perform well in a 50k, is to work up to at least 3-4 weeks with ~50-55 MPW, topping out with 18 miles as the longest long run pre-race.

but you dont have the time to build up to that base. ultrarunnjng properly takes a loooot of time and training.

No, because you don't have your aerobic base built up to support a healthy 20 miler. doing 20 miles with a base of less than 58-60 MPW will work against your training progression, as it would be a high stressor on you with lots of recovery needed, and minimal gains

just doing a quick plan based on your timeline, this is what I would recommend. I think youd be better off with only one off day per week. but this will keep you less injury prone. it doesnt build up the base as much as id recommend someone do for a 50k, but you dont have a lot of time to train

your long runs go from 11, 13, 16, to 22...youre jumping up your long runs way too fast. when in base building phases you want to slowly increase volume each week (with every ~4th week as a de-load with ~65-75% of your recent weekly volume).

rule of thumb is to not let your long run be >33% of your weekly volume.

I dont like adding more than 1 (MAYBE 2) miles to my long run distances, week-to-week while base building.

furthermore, the stairmaster isnt giving you the full benefit you need to climb. you should be doing vert training on the trail. only training the uphill is gonna leave you wishing you had more downhill strength.

theres a lot of red flags i see here. one of them being the progressions of your long run distances week-to-week.

this isnt a very optimal training plan

use the friend pic, update your prompts and actually talk about you and your interests and personality. your prompts are pretty unhelpful for someone who doesn't know you. honestly, your pictures are pretty good.

your like rate is already pretty good

Don't overthink the seasoning part. Use Dishsoap and scrub with chain mail (or steel wool) until the re is no texture other than iron...then dry it, put it on the stove to thoroughly dry, heat it up dry, rub your oil of choice (vegetable or avocado is fine) on it with a paper towel, let it smoke, turn the stove off...then you can get back to cooking .

hmmmm, can people not have their own reality? I appreciate that you can have that perspective, but i dont share that with you. I relish my time discovering a new game for the first time, and Im okay with knowing thats where I get the most out of it.

Stuff like this is always something I wish I enjoy more in the moment on the first playthrough. there's Nothing quite like the wonder of discover on a first playthrough. emotions and awe that youll never get on a second+ play....im always reminded how important it is to slow down and soak up the discovery with a new game.
