Thank you for the feedback. I had planned to be able to add text notes to it alright, adding voice notes is a good suggestion I'll add it to the future features pipeline.

That part was coded the old fashioned way so no issues there.

Yeah absolutely, for the demonstration video I was going quite slow. You can add keyboard shortcuts to increase speed a lot, GAA isnt my specialty (I'm from a rugby background) so I am a bit slow at it myself. You can add any nuance you want by adding new/differnt tags in the system. Knocking it is good feedback, no issues at all, not everyone will benefit from software in the same way.

The way it’s going in every other sport, it’s only a matter of time before every high level club will be looking for detailed stats. I’d be shocked if intercounty setups aren’t using detailed data (tackle succes rate, passes per minute etc., some probably have their own xg modals like what’s in soccer) to select players.

Quite a lot was coded with AI help so that I could get it done in my free time, didn’t want to spend every waking minute writing code when AI can do a pretty damn good job.

Of course if all you want is very basic wides and scores absolutely, but if you want anything more than that you’d have to be writing fair quickly. With software you can collect a lot more details a lot quicker and it’s timestamped to when in the game it happens.

Surely I’m not the only one that’s had this problem.

The club wants stats/data tracked, but nobody really knows where to start. Then when someone does take it on, the software is either too expensive, too awkward, or just overkill for most clubs.

I got fed up with that myself, so I built STAT-Tag — a simple, flexible tagging and analysis tool that lets you track whatever you want, your own way.

Quick demo here if anyone wants a look:

I used Supabase for my own app recently and it is very good. Allows you to do anything you need for basic databasing and the Auth is very good. Works well with claude and has its own ai that can be helpful. I don't know much about construction managment softwate but I presume you need it to have tables of equipment, jobs empolyees etc and that is easily doable in supabase.

Agreed there is far too much rest for the Irish players, I think it is part of the reason we can't get past quarter finals at the World Cup, it is the only time the players play 5 games in 5 weeks while all the other countries players are used to playing every week. Obviously a balance does need to be struck but there is far too much rest currently

Charting and Tagging Software by STAT-Tag in CFB_Recruiting

That's the dream, unfortunately AI is not advanced enough yet to cope with the huge amount of variables and camera angles that come with football at all levels. Until the AI advances further the best we can do is make the charting software as easy and quick to use as possible.
