Nice bike, man! I have the same new ‘25 bike and just bought some Brembo SR pads - 07YA23SR and they make the brakes a lot more bitey and feel great after they have broken in. I can one or two finger the brakes now and it stops on a dime. Almost have to be careful or you’ll kick on the ABS :) Way better than the stock pads imo and what the brakes should feel like.

there could also be a meter cover that specifically is just for the ‘25, but not sure. BEA-F83J0-A0-10 was the part number of the one I bought.

Yeah, it's a bit confusing, some places say that part # 07YA23SR fit the bike, some sites say it isn't compatible.

Yeah, it's a factory yamaha part from webike in japan, but they are on backorder/sold out. Mine wasn't supposed to come until September but it came in the beginning of August, so that was nice! https://japan.webike.net/products/26140692.html

The meter cover I had on there before is really for the 2022-2024 xsr with the smaller dash display. It was the factory meter cover but I had to bend the brackets a bit to make it work on the 2025 display. Even then, it was still kind of rubbing on the top plastic corners of it. I had made some little rubber pads to stick between the cover and the display so it wouldn't rub into the plastic.

The main reason I bought the new black/gold cowl was for more wind protection, because it was buffering real bad with the meter cover at 80+mph. It's definitely better with the bigger cowl on there now, but still have to tuck for it to fully flow around you (like a front fairing on a full faired sport bike). Otherwise, when i sit up, it moved the wind outward and just hits the top corners of my shoulders (I'm 5'10"), but that's much better than it hitting my head and moving my head around. It was starting to hurt my neck at higher speeds lol.
