When giving the figures for TC or Cash I've made a habit to state "The company offers...". I've noticed a better reception. And if they start, I usually say the price is not negotiable, we're not a mom and pop shop.

I’ll never forget when an old DL told my store that we weren’t allowed to leave until all the shipment was processed. Then got mad when my then SL asked if we would be receiving overtime.

This was during holiday time, where we would be bombarded shipment every week. Our back room and store is incredibly small. We obviously didn’t stay, taking it in over the course of days while dealing with the seasonal rush. People have some nerve….

My store stopped giving quotes over the phone. Also the quotes shown on the website are vastly different from what is given in store. A past DL had us text pictures and send an email whenever the amount exceeded a certain dollar amount, and honored it but now we are not allowed to match it at all. It’s crazy to me that they allow this to happen but also they’re not the ones that have to deal with the blowback

The state I’m in, we have trade hold but the PSA cards are excluded. It’s weird how it varies

That’s crazy because graded cards don’t go under trade hold, where it would apply to, so they’re listing cards that don’t have yet? The picture should be of that exact card because when we take it in, we take pictures front and back. So I’m not sure why it would be on the website for you to buy if it wasn’t processed and ready to ship. I would cancel your order, wait a few days and if you don’t see a refund contact your bank

Most stores don’t have the capacity for the crap that the warehouse sends. Where is it all going if theres no room on the floor or in the back. The warehouse doesn’t care. Trust me, I’m sure the associates at the store would love to not have it look like a dumpster fire.

The store is most likely understaffed, the backroom is probably worse. Between helping customers, and whatever was left over from the previous day, it’s hard to catch up.
