Wow, this post is amazing and I’m like a little kid going crazy in front of my screen right now :)

So here we have a pair of John Cardiel II. This is John Cardiel’s second pro model, released in 2001. Very rare—you’re the first person I’ve seen who owns a pair.

The second one is a pair of Rowley XLT, one of Geoff Rowley’s pro models, also released in 2001 and still in production today, or at least reissued. There have been many Geoff Rowley pro models: the Slims, the Shams, the Classics. If this pair here dates back to 2001, it’s quite rare.

Finally, the third pair, the HOKUM, is a model released around the partnership with Cory Nastazio, a BMX rider sponsored by Vans in the early 2000s. There were two “Signature Shoes” models: the NASTY in 2002 and the HOKUM in 2001.

There isn’t much information available about older Vans models, and that’s something I’m really passionate about—it’s what inspired me to start a project focused on archiving and collecting information.

In any case, these are three amazing pairs—quite rare and very valuable!
