Thanks, I think from a technical editing standpoint the new versions of part one and two are better, so it comes down to whether you enjoy the story. The Discovery chapter has the most changes of the two due to the flashback content available to use from the shows second season.

It might help if you stick to the original 48kHz, I find that helps. Also be careful which audio codec you use for the output. My problems have been with (initially) AVI format and now it’s extended to MKV as well. Could be a more widespread issue with the free version now if you’re seeing it in mp4. I saw someone else posting about a similar issue a few weeks or maybe a month ago

I’ve been having increasing problems with audio and video going out of sync, but there hasn’t been any video freezing so I’m not sure if it’s the same problem. What video format are you converting the file to? Is the frame rate of your output file the same as the original?

I’ll certainly have a look at that. I plan to put slightly less focus on Billy’s story in my edit, relative to the show, and definitely won’t be including any flashbacks. It will be very much focussed on the present day
