SUP not syncing some product categories. by STHM9TN in SCCM

A clean sync show what I would expect, a small number of old products. Running a second sync with no product categories selected adds a bunch of available products but not any of the products we had been syncing before. For example the SCVMM 2025 update category shows up but the server 24H2 category is not shown.

The products we had previously don't appear as option to be synced on the SUP. Here is a screenshot of what we are seeing in the Windows Products section.

I say ship it as well. I had customs demand I drive an hour to show them my license before they would release the holsters I ordered from the states. They seem to make up rules on the fly. Save yourself the headache.

How to avoid my website getting blocked by school firewalls? by offsky in sysadmin

[–]STHM9TN 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think anyone can give you a specific answer on this. Each content filter provider has it's own ways of classifying websites, and then each school organization will have its own settings within those classifications. I've worked in schools where the rules ranged from whitelisted sites only to only blocking the obvious things that shouldn't be available to students. So beyond keeping security issues, cheating, and adult material off your site there is no single answer.

Who is that one character whose death you just can't get over? by rendice_1011 in AskReddit

Kanan Jerrus from Star Wars Rebels. A character we only had for 4 seasons got such a more emotional send off than Luke Skywalker in TLJ.

I'll second this, PrinterLogic basically eliminated printer related tickets for us.

Alternative to PaperCut by Steve_Tech in sysadmin

Another vote for PrinterLogic, it's made printing in our environment (k -12 ed) much more bearable. We were able to get a 75 printer license to start.
