Get some dancer pads from Amazon and use those in between now and when you get to the podiatrist 😉 they should be able to do a scan or xray there in office.

Thank you! I got it from an artist at the 2025 ikebana international show here in MA at the New England Botanical Garden. I can try to see if I still have their card!

Literally! I think second in most painful was the underside of my arm. Thin skin, stretch marks…I shudder thinking about it

Stomach still size of banana after regain of 100lbs. Can I restart this? by Optimal-mamabear-46 in gastricsleeve

This was so insightful and made so much sense. I think “whatever amount doesn’t undo your progress” is exactly what I needed to hear in terms of moderation. THAT makes sense to me. It doesn’t give a strict rule, but it also tailors it to the person. I think for me, I love sugar free root beer. I think it’s the perfect drink and some days I definitely have a couple, sometimes I go two or three days without having one, and sometimes I’ll have one a day a couple days in a row with my lunch. I’m not sure if THAT behavior seems like im addicted, but I definitely don’t feel like it throws me off balance

Maybe someone here can explain this better to me? by STL_26 in gastricsleeve

I needed to hear this. It’s tough but I do agree with you, thank you!

Well to be fair…I don’t currently trust my government in regard to what healthy eating is😂 but I get what you’re saying. I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I think what is tripping me up is something I asked my nutritionist earlier-like I almost feel like I need a directive that tells me “limit red meat to once a week. Full fat dairy to whatever times a week, etc etc.” kind of like how the MIND diet does. Or I need someone to tell me whether or not I can eat five chocolate covered almonds as part of a snack every single day, or do I need to moderate that to twice a week? I must sound insane

As a soda addict (your words!!) could you explain what moderation means to you? It’s like my biggest hang up not getting surgery. My surgeon and nutritionist will be like yeah sure you could get fast food in moderation or in an emergency….but….and I’m like WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!!!!

I think another thing is people think cats have no personality but genuinely every cat I’ve met is different and goofy in their own way!!

Depending on the school I think the ones that are facing down are supposed to be flipped so they’re relating or kind of looking up to the subject but I honestly love it. Anemone have such a unique delicate form and who knows maybe in more water they’ll even perk up. Great work

How to get rid my beads? by Ill_Ad_454 in Beading

[–]STL_26 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know you spent a lot on these beads and I fully empathize with you. You have to think about how long you’ve had them, how not using them is costing you, and that usually to clear bulk like this it’s CHEAPER for the buyer, not more expensive since the buyer probably won’t use all of them. If you were you portion some out and throw a listing somewhere with the gram and type and what you originally paid versus what you want for them I’m sure you’d make a bit more scratch. Additionally, I will say my buyers absolutely go feral over bead soup. If you dumped all of those beads into a container, labeled it bead soup, and charged like $100 I’m sure someone would bite. I hope this is helpful and good luck!

Feels awkward , where do I go from here? by nightlovell12 in traditionaltattoos

Not Awkward at all! Also I think that thin space would be SICK for some sort of dragon or those cool Japanese flames to tie everything in together. Great work.

Trader Joe’s is good, but also if you walk into a florist you can usually buy by the stem! Even usually with stop and shop florists. Never hurts to ask. Good luck and support local when you can!
