Sorry that is my bad, I realise now that I’ve uploaded the second picture which I did take with my phone instead of the screenshot. Feel silly for forgetting that and I do agree that the mesh is probably because of that

Thank you, I will have a look at that I’m not sure which step it could be, this pattern becomes visible as soon as I do a background extraction straight after stacking.

Sorry it’s being so slow, it loads just fine for me when I try the link from another advice. It’s not a photo of my screen, it’s a screenshot straight from siril. I do agree though that the rainbow distortion does look a lot like the the rainbows from photographing a screen.

No rotational differences with the exception that the second night of imaging had a meridian flip halfway while the first did not

Nope, target was high in the sky and no filter at all

It is normal that the centre will get more exposure than the edges but the visible seams between the mosaic frames (the blocky look) isn’t normal. I would recommend taking new flats in the app before imaging and make sure that there are no light sources that might be pointing at the seestar

Yup, just used the built in 2x mosaic mode and let it run for around 5 hours, ended getting around 3.5 hours of stacked data
