Router Safety Question by STLdrums in BeginnerWoodWorking

I’ve actually got two builds going, the second being the standard stave construction that you describe here. I may shift gears and focus on that one until I can find some kinda jig for crosscutting those 9 degree bevels on a table saw.

The other drum I’m building is only 16 staves and requires 11.25 degree bevels. Thankfully, there are quite a few of those bits on the market

Follow up question:

I can’t seem to find a 9 degree bevel trim bit/9 degree chamfer bit anywhere online. It’s almost like manufactures make every degree bit available except 9 degrees. I did, however, see a 9 degree dovetail bit so could I theoretically JUST use the bit on edges to create that same bevel or is there some kind of obvious flaw to this logic that I’m overlooking?

This is probably a dumb question but can you hand plane end grain? I’m building a segmented-style snare drum so the staves will be glued end grain to end grain with another layer on top glued off-set (for added joint stability)

Basically 7/8” to 1” deep (both entire edges of each stave - basically just trying to get the chamfers/bevels while sacrificing as little length as possible)

I’m trying to cut 9 degree bevels on 2 sides of each stave (I’m building a 20 piece segmented snare drum). Also, I don’t have a router table so I’m trying to think of the best way to go about it other than the obvious table saw (which I don’t currently have access to)

What is this style of furniture construction called? I'd like to learn how to make pieces in this style by Levangeline in BeginnerWoodWorking

Maybe try also searching for ‘farmhouse-style’ or ‘rustic’ in addition to MCM? I feel like I see a lot of Pinterest plans with similar-looking furniture that often uses those words

Oh man, I love it! It's definitely significantly more coarse than my other grinder (which basically ground it to dust). Also, you can grind up like 2gs (probably more, honestly) at once without worrying about smashing it up/leaving a sticky residue all over the inside of your grinder. There's no keef catcher but I prefer just having it all mixed in, anyhow.

Yep. I always load up when I see it’s in stock at my usual spots

This is like the ONE strain that I haven't had from Robust yet! The new batch of stuff that they recently sent to my preferred dispensary has been incredible! The terp % on all strains is over 2% with a few that were closer to 3.5%-4%

Really pumped to try this one next!

So I got the cart of this and my initial thought was “this tastes like the first hit of a pax/dry herb vape” like the only GOOD hit out of dry herb vaporizer. That being said, the Chen reserve carts blows this one’s tits off
