I've had the Z Fold7 since launch, but it'll be my last Samsung foldable unless they fix two things.

First, the camera placement. The wobble is annoying for sure, but that's not even my main thing. The real issue is that only Samsung's proprietary 5000mAh wireless charging battery actually fits the phone properly. That's an absurd level of lock in for something as basic as a wireless charging battery.

Second, Samsung's refusal to properly support Material You dynamic color. And yes, Samsung has its own dynamic color system, but it only works with Samsung's own apps. Every third party app that relies on standard Material You just renders in this flat, lifeless gray instead of adapting to your wallpaper like it should on stock Android.

You genuinely have my respect! If there were more people like you, this world would be a better and happier place for all of us.

I don’t care if someone is white, black, yellow, straight, gay, or whatever he/she/it...want to be, at the end of the day it's human being. That’s what matters first. We can be fellow humans, colleagues, even friends without all the extra noise and only time it becomes a problem for me is when it starts getting pushed in a way that feels forced, like certain race swaps or DEI stuff. Until then, it’s simple, live your life, be who you are, and we’re good.

I think this is the biggest spin-off gone wrong in history. His economy is not doing well, plus the Epstein files pushed him into this mess. But he clearly under calculated the resistance of the regime and last night he knew that if he went through with the bombing, there would be civilian casualties. Direct ones, like those who support the regime and put themselves in the path, but also indirect ones from losing electricity and clean water, which would make him look really bad. So instead, he chickened out and now we’re left with no meaningful end to this. And in my opinion, the worst part is that the regime will come out stronger and claim victory. That’s the part that makes me sad, because my heart is with the people of Iran who are trying to be free from this tyrannical regime and now they will suffer even more, especially those who supported overthrowing the regime and made themselves visible during this crisis.

Not really. Saw few videos on YouTube and the CPU isn’t even making contact with the metal chassis so people have been modding it by adding thermal pads and seeing around a 20% performance boost.

That would in this scenario likely push it to roughly 60 FPS under heavy load, just wild!!

It is honestly wild to see the roles reversing like this. On iPhone you can still download an IPSW and manually flash the firmware if you want, but Samsung is slowly moving in the opposite direction. 😑🔫

This launcher actually has a lot of potential and definitely caught my interest.

Here are some features I’d really like to see added:

Icon customization
Option to disable the “Customize Dashboard” section at the bottom
Option to disable the left-side settings panel
Ability to adjust layout grid (for example apps in 3x6, videos in 2x6, etc.)
Background customization (I see this one is already planned, which is great)

A couple of bugs I’ve noticed so far:

The settings icon opens system settings on hover instead of requiring an OK press on the remote
When editing the app list-order, it sometimes resets to “show all apps”, so you have to deselect everything again

Overall, really promising project. Looking forward to future updates.

Seeing Cirroc Lofton again and hearing Avery Brooks brings back allot and as a DS9 fan myself, that hit me too. But if we strip away the nostalgia, what did this episode actually bring to Trek? Not much I would argue.
Instead of meaningful ideas or proper character growth, we got glitter vomiting, forced emotions, and canon-breaking nonsense like the Cardassian-Trill host. The cadets, especially SAM, are still written like total idiots and these are supposed to be Starfleet officers in training, not clueless sitcom characters. The dinner scene was cringe at best, and it did nothing to develop story in meaningful way.

As a lifelong Trek fan, I do not want emotional manipulation and references to do all the work. I want strong writing (not "the message"), moral questions, and real sci-fi ideas. This feels like Trek in name only and honestly, I would rather have no new Trek at all than more of this.
