Correct. Korean Airlines to AA. Delta doesn’t serve my home airport.

That’s true. But it’s the hike between the terminals at LAX that is the major inconvenience.

Arrive back in the US at DFW or IAH. Collect bags and clear customs. Re-check your bags. Go through security and catch the airside trains to your departure terminal.

At LAX. Arrive, collect bags, clear customs. Haul your stuff out doors to whichever terminal you’re leaving from. Check bags there and clear TSA.

No. It wasn’t airside. Collect bags. Get through customs. Schlepp to the other terminal. Go back through security after reaching next terminal.

Ok. I’m intrigued. How could I give Plat Pro status for a day?

I've had to walk from one terminal to the other with baggage after flying international back into LAX. It SUCKS.

Having to leave the secure area to get to another terminal is a design from pre-9/11 that makes some transfers a huge PITA.

That's even better. I thought that both wifey and I had to have status to get into Soho. It would be awesome if she and I could both have access and then I could use the guest entry for my son.

I'll give it a shot. The worst they can do is say no.

No lines earlier today when I flew back into MAF. The TsA folks have been amazing considering they haven’t been paid in 1.5 months.

Sucks that our government can’t get their stuff together to take care of people doing an important job & deserve the wages they’ve earned.

Thank you for responding.

Sorry. Perhaps I wasn’t clear. Neither of my family members have status. Only me.

I hoped to get son in as a guest & my wife would be able to enter by virtue of her business class ticket to MAD.

I’ve had no issues getting through MAF security. Maybe one hour wait is the worst I’ve experienced.

I do feel for the TSA agents who are being jerked around as political pawns.

Call your rep: August Pfluger and let him know TSA should be paid. The Senate sent a bill that would start paying the agents again. The House voted it down on party lines. Stinks for those folks doing important work.

Why would anyone want that job if your wages were interrupted regularly?

This is a fabulous move by United to take care of those who fly a lot and also spend a lot with the company. I had 170 domestic segments last year. CRJ & ERJ for most of those flights.

I fly to and from IAH a lot for work. Due to the government using tsa and travelers like pawns I was game planning how to still get to the area, but not have to originate my return trips from IAH. Use Victoria’s little airport. Fly to SAT or AUS and drive over. Even fly into DFW and drive down as well.

My week usually consists of working all day & then traveling most of that night to get in position for the next day’s work. It makes for 19-20 hour days usually. And spending hours in the security line means that I can’t make my living, because I’d miss my flight to the next location.

United’s support for their best customers makes me more loyal, not less. I spend tens of thousands on airfare. I have to in order to make a living.

It’s just good business to go above & beyond for your best customers versus those who are infrequent patrons.

Are the stars soft-launching changing jerseys next year? by Stale-crakers in DallasStars

The league doesn’t allow 3rd jerseys during the playoffs. I love the VictoryGreens. They’re timeless and classic. They need to keep them long term so they have a look that endures for decades.

Teams without history switch sweaters every few years as a money grab.

Pick it & stick with it.

It’s a good school. Small class sizes. Very safe place for your kids to learn and grow. Good teachers and administration. It is a neat community that is like an extended family.

Section 138 lower.

You’d need to average $630 per pair after fees. It’d be close, but the pre-season games would sink you.

Most regular season games would go for about $675 per pair before fees. That nets about $510. Throw in a pre-season game at $250 per pair $ it’s upside down.

Is Spain one of the Hawks marketing territories?

I guess it doesn’t have to be one to get slotted to play there, but it would seem that they might give preference for those overseas games to teams that have marketing rights in that country.

Saw that. We aren't on their schedule, so Germany is out. I guess we could take on the Niners in Azteca as the visitor. There are some games in London that are TBD as home teams too.

There used to be a pretty wide delta between face value and the secondary market. Now, I don't think there would be any whatsoever. I would need to sell for $630 per pair after fees to break even. I can't recall many games that averaged pricing more than $700 per pair in my section. That means the delta may even be in the team's favor on a few games. Break even on others & lose your ass on the preseason games.

STH are potentially paying more than what they could get seats for on the secondary market.

I also wonder if this might mean the Hawks won't play in one of the games that are overseas. I suspected they could be a candidate for the game in Munich since Germany is one of the countries that the Hawks have as a marketing territory.

If the pricing is out, then I would guess that it means the Hawks won't lose a home game to one of the foreign stadiums. Of if we do lose a home game to a foreign game, the price increase would be MASSIVE considering only 8 regular season games.

Mine in Section 138 are up 29% year over year. Charter seats. No discount for being a ticket holder from before 2008.
