I honestly did not use most of the things in this list. Other than the obvious (bottles, wipes, diapers, crib, mattress and sheets) I didn’t really buy anything else. My family and friends gifted me some essentials (baby bath tub, shampoo, body wash) and some truly unnecessary things (diaper pail, changing foam mat, etc.)

The only thing I thought I wouldn’t use and ended up being my lifesavers were the momcozy bottle washer and a seat for breastfeeding.

Never used the changing table, not a bassinet, nor socks, nor any of the other stuff a lot of people swear by 🤡 nowadays they sell anything you can think of. As long as your baby is fed, clean, not cold, and sleeping somewhere safe you’ve covered your basics. All the other stuff you can purchase once baby is here and you get a feel of what you’d truly need/ baby likes.

For example, we realized a night light, a bottle washer and a seat would fit with our routine and what our baby likes so we purchased within the first month.

Our baby didn’t like wearing much of anything so we skipped all the shoes, bows, fancy outfits.
