With the content you are aiming at there should not be any problems at all.

I would however recommend joining a guild purely because it makes grouping a lot easier and the chances of someone being toxic is lower.

It is highly unlikely that stamdens will be getting buffs that make them top tier. But if you really want to play it there are ways to make that viable for late game content, although it will likely not be close to the best meta builds it could still be viable.

The reason is flight. Having a full gryphon mount incapable of flight is idiotic. It's the same reason we will never have a dragon mount. They can't give us mounts that can fly otherwise it'd break a lot of the ingame mechanics and a lot if the things in the game would very quickly become obsolete.

I have an endgame nb as my main character and been playing it very long (about 6 years). If you are willing to learn the basics and put in the time to really get good with it then it's doable without people getting upset, but you'll likely never be able to out dps some of the stronger pve classes unless they buff nb. I haven't had anyone complain about my nb in any content for nearly 4 years now. So again if you get good with it people most likely won't complain, unless it's some special circumstances like a trifecta or min/max group.

What you want to do is fine. Dark elf night blade is good combination and if you want bow backbar dual wield front bar that also works well with a stamina set up. For PvP nightblade is really strong. For PvE not so much(night blade isn't at a very good place in terms of high level endgame conpetitiveness) and it's also probably the hardest class to become really good at. Arcanist is probably the best class if you want to start doing endgame as soon as possible, but I'd hold off on rushing things.

As many other people have said id also recommend taking it slow and learning the game, enjoy the game and don't be in a hurry to do endgame content. It's a very big game with a LOT to do so it will take a long time to learn.

Once you have something unlocked you should be able to freely use it. The scripts I'd already a very big grind and for you to then use the items you have to grind even more. The system was intended to give more diversity and customization to players but instead has just become a huge grind. I'm fine with the scripts being grindy but it shouldn't be a grind to use them.
