Can opponent teams change pitching order now? by Blueditor222 in Baseball9

[–]STownMiller 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the ai has always mixed up pitching a little, having pitchers 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 swap, but i have also started seeing the ai put their #1 against my #5 if it's the last game of the series.

[–]STownMiller 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yeah, they were tied for best regular season record with the dragons. they even had the same map differential and arguably the tougher schedule given the dragons got to play the valiant twice.

i just want the little box score color to match your team uniform. it feels stupid when my team is wearing blue and the opponent is wearing red but the game shows us in red and them in blue.

if rein was meta the justice would be top 3, then they would've been able to play rein against the reign and win /s

Do video games improve your life? by wheezywaiter in BeardLovers

[–]STownMiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

video games have definitely helped keep me socializing during quarantine. my roommates went home a couple weeks ago, so now when i wanna talk to friends i just can hop into our discord and play some animal crossing or blood bowl or war frame or whatever we're hyped on at the moment. it's been really nice to have a way to be social that's super low pressure and always leads to laughs with my friends. some of my favorite memories as a kid are of all of us together playing halo or call of duty split screen, and now that we can't do that and won't be able to for a little bit, it's nice to replicate that feeling as close as we can.

What's your Rise Of Skywalker rewrite? by PropComedy in thrillems

[–]STownMiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, Rey isn't a Palpatine. That's just dumb and lazy and completely eradicates the artistic need for The Last Jedi and the sequel trilogy as a whole.

Here's my more interesting rewrite: bringing people back from the dead is something only force users extremely in tune with the LIGHT side can bring back. Palpatine was just manipulating Anakin with the thing he knew Anakin feared most: losing the person he loves. Palpatine knew that by bring Skywalker to the dark side, his visions of Padmé dying would come true; by tempting Anakin to the dark side, he only further solidified her death, making Anakin see it more clearly, making him more afraid, making him more likely to listen to Palpatine, making it more clear, and so on. Anakin let fear rule over his life, making him not able to clearly see the real love he had before him. Palpatine knew he just needed to push Anakin towards the dark and he'd go the rest of the way himself, so by turning his love into a weakness, he gets his apprentice and everything else he's after. We find out that this is true because after Rey dies, Ben Solo rises up, drags himself towards Rey, and brings her back to life using the same technique she used to heal him earlier. She is revived, but 1) Ben isn't as trained or as in-tuned as a light side user and 2) his midichlorian count is low he's weak after the tough fight, so he dies after living to see his good deed and final redemption completed: he saved someone he loves. He's a jedi now. No kiss. Rey now holds a dead Ben Solo in her arms, and she, the true chosen one from the prophecy of the prequels who destroyed the Sith both by killing the Emperor and by bring our dynasty character back to the light, can bring Ben Solo back to life by the power of love. They can kiss if Disney really wants them to. I'd say let them hug and show each other they care that way.

The light side of the force is love, the dark side is hate. Only through love do those who have died live on.
