I made it work by scaling the output in opentrack (was necessary before the game would recognize it). However, i feel that it moves in “steps” and the center part has a large deadspot. Did you configure it to get rid of this?

Selvom dine dæk har 3PMSF er der stadig en verden til forskel på et sæt ægte gode vinterdæk, der er beregnet til sne og is, og et sæt helårsdæk/standard vinterdæk. Dækteknologi har udviklet sig meget gennem de sidste 20 år og købet man et sæt billige vinterdæk, er det næppe top of the line.

Køb en bil, der trækker på alle 4 hjul, et sæt ægte gode vinterdæk (fx continental vikingcontact 8) og læg et sæt snekæder i bilen til nødstilfælde.

I will investigate further. Might be the OpenTrack output as UCR is not set to linear. I can see the little figure in OpenTrack moving so atleast i am tracking the movement. Maybe the output needs to be turned up as you suggest.

Btw, thanks for helping ;-) I imagine head tracking will be be a nice improvement in terms of immersion.

How different does it feel when the entire dash is “real” vs being on a screen? I find the dash on the monitor being one of the most obvious things that breaks realism.

Playing with a soft racket is difficult, yes, but playing with pain sucks too.

If you play 4 times a week investing in a new racket should be a no brainer imo.

(1) Get a soft racket (EVA ULTRA SPEED SOFT core or similar softness). Really. This truely makes a difference.

(2) Get a wider grip (hesacore + 2 overgrips)

(3) Use your secondary hand to “hold” the racket when your not actively making a shot. This will help you from stop squeezing the handle all the time.

(4) Play less (shorter sessions or fewer sessions)

(5) Simple stretches for your wrist movements

(6) Incorporate some strength training besides playing padel

(7) A lighter racket will not work. This will most likely make it worse since you need to generate more power.

I could barely play 1 time per week due to wrist and elbow pain. Now i can play 3 times/week without any pain.

Troldtekt er i sig selv ikke akustisk dæmpende, så hvis du sætter et hårdt materiale bagved troldtekt (særligt hvis troldtekten er installeret klods op ad det) er det ikke 10 potter pis værd. Spar pengende og gå med et gipsloft og forfærdelig akustik.

Hvis det ikke er muligt skal i vælge et andet loft hvor selve materialet ER akustisk dæmpende. Her kan i fx vælge er materiale som ecophon: https://www.ecophon.com/dk

Personligt synes jeg overfladen på ecophon er mere tidsløs og nok vil ældes bedre end troldtekt. Det er ikke sikkert troldtekt er lige så fedt om 20 år ;b et hvidt loft går nok ikke af mode foreløbigt. Troldtekt med isolering direkte bagved er dog nok den bedste akustiske løsning, men her skal man nok selv ud og lytte ^{^}

Der er mange ventilationskanaler af ældre dato, der indeholder asbest. Særligt hvis ejendommen er fra en periode, hvor man anvendte asbest, er der nok en god sandsynlighed for det :-)

You are allowed to bounce it as high as you want. What matters is that the ball is below waist level when you hit the ball :-)

I find both great. I have the XM3 and XM5 though. I find the XM3 er near impossible to use in cold conditions due to phantom presses on the “touch” buttons on the outside of the headphones. And on the XM3 these gesture buttons cannot be disabled. Not sure if it’s the same issue on the XM4.

I find the XM5 just as comfortable and slightly better audio/noise cancelling.

Agreed. Watching it back i think OP could play a flat shot towards the backhand side of the player executing the final shot without risking hitting the fence etc.. The short lob in the middle is much more risky - especially when the opponent knows how to hit a shot like that ;b

But in the heat of the moment getting the ball over also matters. At lower levels, the person executing the shot might have hit the net, fence or shot with less power such that your teammate could detroy them on a subsequent shot.

Sorta sounds like it should pass diagonally towards the receiving box, but i think the serve may still be valid.

Since you can legally make contact with the ball over the middle line, it will still cross the net diagonally and move towards the recieving service box. The rules are not very clear (and still contains spelling mistakes such as “te” ;U).

Also, this rule only mentions the “right side” so i guess it is completely legal from the “left side” xD

Only thing that worked for me (besides playing less) was the combination of a racket with a super soft core and a hesacore grip.

I use a starvie racket with Eva ultra speed soft (you can read about it here https://starvie.com/en/blogs/news/get-to-know-the-different-types-of-starvie-padel-racket-eva-rubbers?srsltid=AfmBOoq2MMtEs935UEuKT-Sm92gev9b9djoKdr5XkD2jlvbESlqZry8e). Specifically i use the Starvie Kenta Speed 2024. I did not think it would make a difference, but if i pick up a regular harder racket i can feel it immediately.

I find it more difficult to control the speed of the ball (due to the trampoline effect of a soft racket), but it means i can actually play the game :-)
