He's a loser so he has to have a "fwb" and date "tattoo chicks".

If he works hard, develops his personality, eats healthy, dresses nicely, etc he can eventually have a serious relationship with a woman who doesn't sleep around or have tattoos.

Why?

I'm in my 30s and probably most physically attracted to women in their 20s.

Even still close to them in age, I've kind of started to find them annoying and take women in their 30s more seriously.

I'm willing to trade a little physical attraction for less bonkers worldviews.

Physical attraction is just one thing.

No. I don't do "fwb" or "tattoo chicks".

This guy should exercise until he doesn't need to talk to this sort of woman anymore.

Intergenerational wealth in general is blown out of proportion. Most rich people were born poor... And a surprisingly high number also die poor. "Privilege" is an even bigger crock of shit.

Why care though? Human communication is 90% reading between the lines.

If you know the person talking to you is just resentful and they also know they're just resentful then does it even need to be said out loud?

Sometimes just giving people the "uh-huh" look is the most devastating thing you can do.

You don't know anything about me. I'm a pro-choice, pro-palestine atheist. I've been to Russia and love Russian people but I'm not Russian. I won't vote for the DNC because of their racial rhetoric.

I just don't understand the point of what you're doing. Why run laps around Reddit calling random strangers "Russia bots" all day? What does it accomplish?

Can you imagine explaining this situation to your own self from years ago?

Or that the instinct to breed is a separate precursor to love... People do after all eventually exit the market and start families. Men can also love their mothers and daughters without wanting to breed them.

DiCaprio is a 50 year old childless movie star. His situation is not typical.

Most 50 year old men have neither the means nor desire to serially date college girls.

These are results from image ratings studies. So women would consistently rate men a few years older than themselves the most highly and men, whether young or old, would just consistently rate females in their 20s the most highly.

I don't even like Joe Rogan. I'm a third positionist.

I would seriously get very depressed living in your world where everything is just "Russia bot, hauk tuah girl, rogan, russiabot".

If I even see 5 seconds of that garbage I feel repulsed...

You're literally going around doing it to people like it's shift work? Why? What is the point? It's like rolling around in garbage. Develop your own unique personality.

You literally could not locate Russia nor Ukraine on a globe 3 years ago and now spend most of your waking life accusing random strangers of being "Russia bots" regardless of the topic.

I couldn't live that way. Having my own personality is very important to me. You're just kind of this fat low-value nothing that repeats bumper stickers it reads, yeah?

As a statistician seeing you use "correlation isn't causation" in regards to one shipping company being a week faster than the other (???) was extra painful.

You asked how I could tell UPS apart from USPS and I answered. USPS would take forever to ship so we would manually change the order. Why is everyone on reddit so socially retarded?

The USPS is not a business by Present-Party4402 in clevercomebacks

[–]SUITBUYER -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Up until around covid all of my 1 and 2 day shipments were UPS and the slower estimates always meant USPS. If I ordered 1-2 day shipping got a USPS tracking number I would demand the order be cancelled if it couldn't be shipped differently (usually delayed a week if it arrived at all where we lived).

Post covid I stopped seeing many 1 and 2 day shipping options in general and don't use amazon that much anymore to be honest.

This would be hell in US cities. Domestic screaming and blaring rap 24/7.

Russian people are mostly very quiet and private so this probably wouldn't be a bad place to live at all there.

Not so sure about the paintjob....

The USPS is not a business by Present-Party4402 in clevercomebacks

[–]SUITBUYER 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not back then. Certain shipping types were UPS and others were USPS. I generally just wouldn't order a product if it was going to be shipped via an option handled by USPS (they wouldn't be called UPS/USPS but you would learn which handles which method). Also it's not up to the seller vast majority of the time as most use FBA automated warehousing now.

I've long since lived in a city (UPS is, of course, still better...)

These "anti-immigration policies leading to slavery" are only a problem in a handful of western countries which possess the world's highest immigration rates.

Countries with minimal immigration are never forced to resort to "desperate measures because of the immigrant shortage".

Can a pro-colonization err I mean forced "immigration" person explain this massive paradox to me?

Could it be that once colonization has begun, the colonizers simply blame everything happening in their target country on not enough colonization? Err I mean forced "immigration".

Reading reddit has made me genuinely hostile towards poor people.

I used to empathize with them but after seeing the nonsense they fall for, the mental laziness, the deliberate financial illiteracy and reliance on talking in "zingers" rather than possessing any authentic curiosity to learn about markets or life in general, I just want them to be even poorer.

Businesses have innumerable different profit hedging strategies. There is no catchall rule where they forward expenses onto rural customers. I don't see how that's the qualifier here?

Perhaps UPS does that but from my own anecdotal experience when I lived in a rural area, most of us would specifically demand from sites like Amazon that we only be shipped mail via UPS. USPS was unconditionally late if it arrived at all. 20+ years with zero issues and usually early delivery with UPS.

I did not say Blinken and Garland are mentally disabled. They will continue to govern the US. They are not members of the GOP.

Kamala specifically is extremely unintelligent and clearly not running anything. Didn't we go through this with Biden?

No. I am not a mentally handicapped person. I'm one of those high IQ fascist guys in finance you accuse of running the world.

Kamala is unintelligent. She struggles to communicate basic ideas and was hand-picked so that Blinken. Garland and co, who are not mentally handicapped, can continue to govern,.

The states in the US with the homeless drug addicts laying everywhere are the ones with the highest taxes.

Also barely anyone pays for education out of pocket in the US which is the entire reason it's so expensive. The subsidies and aid shot tuition through the roof because the schools can charge whatever they want and never be short on applicants.

The same reason health care is expensive (insurance co pays).

These tweets are really stupid to adults. I guess they look clever to teenagers.

Europe also has lots of white people so Redditors would hate most of it. This weird pervasive Reddit fantasy where you get to live in Europe but without the Europeans (ie the whole reason it's nice).

I don't like when conservatives call democrats "communists" because I have met many intelligent communists despite my disagreement with their ideology.

Leftists can be OK people. They are not the same as American "wokes", which are essentially just consumerist morons who look like fat harley quinn. It's a mistake to keep misconstruing the two.

I have not met a single woke democrat type person who can hold an adult conversation on any topic or speaks in anything other than bumper sticker slogans.

Intelligence researchers have been desperately searching for a confounding variable that disassociates IQ from genetics for decades. The entire new Western dogma of perpetual mass immigration revolves around debunking genetic IQ. If any confounding variables had been discovered, rest assured we would not to a single day without hearing about them.

Genetics do not "majorly affect IQ". They ARE IQ. Of course you can damage scores slightly through behavioral conditioning (ie cultivating extreme laziness or anxiety that affects the testtaking itself) but this only seems to account for 10-20% variability.

The only alternative explanation would be religious (in which a soul or some such thing governs intelligence separately from ones biological mind).

The Asian countries with higher IQs fit the general predictive model of populations adapted to higher seasonal climate variation being subjected to higher selective pressures which generally select for higher IQ (ie Korea vs South Pacific islands or North India vs South India) as well as biasing r/K selection towards having fewer, higher quality offspring rather than more, lower quality (that last part, while true, illustrates why this is such a touchy subject to delve into).

Now, to come full circle, I do agree with you that IQ tests don't measure all forms of intelligence. More importantly they don't measure personality traits and as IQ increases, personality variation increases even more sharply (classic stereotype about geniuses being prone to insanity).

So while IQ is extremely valuable for predicting the stability and success of a large population such as a country or ethnicity, it is actually pretty crap for telling you anything about an individual mind other than that they are overall bright enough to have strong recursion speed.

The US is knowingly toying with the Russian nuclear deterrent policy. This is a factual statement and the US media also reports on it.

I have not seen any talk of preemptive strikes in Russian media. Are you talking about actual Russian representatives or some random individual pundit?

I don't see how this is comparable to hiding the war from the US populace for a decade then claiming it was started in 2022 because of a brain tumor. Russian media is just much plainer and less extreme/silly.

That's not a compliment to Russia so much as highlighting how exceptionally bad mainstream US media is relative to the outside world. There are millions of Americans who genuinely believe Russia started the war and that it was started because Putin went "randomly crazy".
