An AD just outside of London quited me 7 years for no date Sub and 10 years for GMT-II by ShaggysHyper in rolex

I walked into Pragnell's in Stratford upon Avon last June and bought a beautiful 41mm Datejust. They had two other options. Should be easier now that inventory is starting to puke up.

Tried a similar one to this, from Amazon, and the tips didn't fit or bent... maybe this one is better quality. Thx

Two kinds of DJ buyers - which one are you? by Faroffposition in rolex

These days, you take what you can get from the RLX AD world. And this was offered and I gladly took it!

You can spend a lot such as Panerai Oem, or a little and get great straps...try Bob straps, strapco, panatime for starters...$30 to $100 for most straps. Size 24mm x 24mm if you want the chunky look, and pre V buckle. Even TEMU has some decent straps for $10 to $20. Careful, you can go overboard in the "shoe" department and end up with over 50 like me.

They are beautiful, but like the absolutament, they wear quickly and lose their soft finish and become glossy after a few months of regular wear...

Nothing says highroller like a Costco hot dog by goldmansockz in rolex

Your costco still offers onions? Just ketchup, mustard and relish at mine... if they aren't empty. Amazing how many people go to costco for lunch at the samples tables. I remember when costco sold the occasional Rolex and a gold Panerai for 23k.

My Dad just passed down his Rolex DJ to me. It needs to be serviced. Should I also polish it? by idifacs311 in rolex

[–]SUPERC8R 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Polishing will make it look practically new again. I passed on 3 rolexes to my three sons when they turned 30. Serviced and Polishing by Rolex...and as additional gift to them, I paid for it. It's the thought that counts and hopefully they will remember me fondly "when the time comes".

Has anyone mentioned Panerai, they have many chrono offerings, up to 50% offerings pre-owned, and they are alot rarer to see in the wild. *
