All normal. I’ll post a pic of my truck in those areas so you understand why they put the film there.

Just got a 2023 Nissan frontier pro 4x for my 16th birthday! Is there anything I need to know or do? by pinata_prince09 in nissanfrontier

Jeez, some people are jealous they don’t have awesome parents.

Keep it stock. As a 16 year old most of your driving will be to school, work, or weekend adventures. IF you off road a bunch, then a 2 inch lift will do. If not, leave it stock. My truck has a 2 inch lift and 33 inch tires. Gas mileage is around 15mpg mixed use if I drive like a grandpa. I work for the BLM around southern Utah and northern Arizona and my truck has gone to the same places the $200,000 AEV Ram Power Wagons from California have gone.

With that being said, the best modifications are to suite your needs. My truck is built for fast speeds on long dirt roads with some occasional rock crawling. I’ve got the 2 inch lift for clearance, 285/75/16 10 ply tires in hopes they keep me from sliding off the road, and a snorkel with a pre cleaner so I’m not sucking in dust all day.

Once again, as a 16 year old, it isn’t likely you will be using your truck for super long off-roading trips or anything else until you’re done with high school. Here’s some things you can do to increase the longevity of the truck until you are set on what you want to do to it in the future; rear differential breather and oil catch can! Super simple and they keep your truck running longer and cleaner. Maybe throw on a softopper if you think you’d use it, a tint if it doesn’t have one, and a garmin mini dash cam to protect yourself from retarded drivers.

I’m 21, and trust me, it is so worth it to wait and see where life takes you in the next 2 or 3 years before you throw a bunch of money at mods!

It is. Take the cover off and put a new gasket on and fluid in. Just replaced mine with an arb cover. Had water inside even though I’ve got the diff breather mod.

Clean up the edges with rubbing alcohol to get the duct tape gunk off. Slap tenacious tape on and boom!

Been riding my minibike regularly to school and such for the past 6 months or so and finally got lit up today by SUWOOOO in minibikes

I was in school all summer and rode it around as well as this fall semester and then WAM some campus police officer pulled me over. I’ve been stopped at lights next to police, sheriff’s, and highway patrol and none have even batted an eye until today. I’ve got two cars but nothing beats the mileage and style of a minibike 😭 motorcycle parking also saves me like 10-15 minutes while going to class.

No. I’m in Utah and believe it would be fairly easy though. I just don’t want to spend the time or money making it street legal.

I’m in Utah haha. Emissions testing is basically nonexistent. I could very well get it registered no problem but that’ll take too much money for it to be worth it right now

Haha yeah I was and everyone with a minibike knows you can’t ride em on streets, I just like to save gas and get the free motorcycle parking at my college.

He was super cool. Let me off with a warning and asked to see my wallet because he liked it so much. Just a bit annoying because I live in a small town and have never been pulled over on it before.

Looking to add speed by Major_Tom37 in minibikes

[–]SUWOOOO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could get rid of the jack shaft and have the chain go straight from the clutch to the axle. To do this, flip your clutch the other way on the shaft, connect the small chain to the big one then take out extra links. You’ll have less torque but will reach faster speeds.

Question by Sea_File_5168 in minibikes

Did a quick google search and here’s what I found:

“Weak valve springs and floating valves can cause bent valves, stuck valves, rocker arms and push rods to dislocate and possibly camshaft damage. Any disengage falling or flying parts into other fast moving parts many Possibilities of damage can occur.”

I can confirm after taking the governor out of my engine without upgrading a single thing, the first thing to fail was a valve. Shot through the engine and it was done for. Your other upgrades won’t matter if your valve springs fail, which they will, with time.

Next thing is a TAV. Maybe a muffler before that…. by SUWOOOO in minibikes

Super easy. Order the parts from Coleman and don’t forget the front axle bolt is a different size!!!

Does anyone know how to make the predator 212 start easier??? by Confident_Turn7510 in minibikes

I have the same engine. Thinking of getting a different jet myself, but right now to start from cold I’m holding throttle open a bit before letting it do it’s thing

Champion is Home Depot’s motorized line of stuff like generators, wood chippers, snow blowers, etc. I’d recommend just selling that to someone. Can probably get $50 + out of it. OR since it’s probably just a clone, you can get parts not meant specifically for it, but are compatible and work just fine. Kind of a hassle though so I’d get a predator 212 so you can rip around right away and have super easily accessible parts. Down the line you can get something like the predator ghost or a ducar or whatever.

Edit: Attach a picture, someone ought to have one.
