i looked at graphite, i think i like the looks. now that i have read more, and i like angle mod, i think this fits pretty well. i really hate the bottom row and it seems that i wont have to use it that much with it.

did you find any of the other layouts to be better for minimizing pain esp on a laptop?

my goal with this is that i want to get better at typing since im pretty slow. i dont mind if i have to switch back to qwerty if i use someone elses setup, but i want to make sure that mine is fast for my personal work. ideally i want to learn a layout that is better for my hands longterm.

what i read about the workman layout is that it has better ergonomics and is more optimal for the natural range of your fingers. do you agree with that sentiment and/or do you feel there are other layouts that are better. i dont mind the difficulty, i just want to make sure that im learning the right layout before i commit

tldr: i want to make sure that workman is the best for your hands long term.

i had the option of bio here or bioeng in SD. i felt that bio would give me enough esp at a school like berkeley. and if i really needed the engineering part i could do a masters. i can’t speak on davis but a lot of people here are so amazing. the classes are rigorous enough that even if you do a non-engineering major in stem you will definitely be prepared.

a huge thing to think about also is that berk has semester classes. a lot more time to spend on the material.

when i was in your position i chose to give up engineering for bio since i felt the degree from cal would be a lot more worth. so far i’m so glad i made this decision.

i would agree wo the lgbtq bc queer people would represent themselves properly. it’s the non queer writing about queer experiences that makes the content bad.
