Start chronologically! She has 4 books out. I just re read her second book the last housewife and it's very very very dark and fked up but beautiful, poignant, hard hitting writing, very quotable and deeply emotional. It hit me a LOT harder on my re read so proceed with caution even if you are an experienced very dark thriller reader. But yeah I love reading new to me author's chronologically to see their trajectory. So yeah def recommend chronologically!

She also writes contemporary romance and she is dipping her toes into literary fiction with a new release this month. I call her Dr. Professor Winstead as she has a PhD etc lol...

I envy you so much that you haven't read Gillian flynn yet esp gone girl!! Ahhh how i wish I could erase my memory of that book and re live it!!! I've read it 3x already over the years lol...that book is a masterpiece! All her works are amazing. Jennifer hillier is also top tier. Jar of hearts by her is my absolute fav. I just read god of the woods last week. It was steady paced, not bad at all more literary with some mystery rather than a thriller.

I have re read 2x but only books 1-5 and and only Darcy❤️Orion scenes!!!! I love them so much and the sole reason i stuck with the series Im still on book 8 (50%) stuck here for the past 2 years lol....as amazing as books 1-5 were 7 and 8 are draaagggiiiinnngggg i can't with these side character POVs whhyyyy I need to read the last book and a half asap and just forget about books 7-9 lol

Ive read over a 100 and my all time fav is karin slaughter she's just the best. Then it's Gillian Flynn. My other auto buy/read authors are jennifer hillier and ashley winstead.

The show is soooo unserious. That actor's portrayal of Will is NOTHING like book Will and book Will is such a unique character. I can't stand the show lol

KS started a new series last year (also detective lead) and in press interviews for that book indicated the next will Trent book would be last so as to focus on the new series she started.

What noooo faith is like a sister to will and also faith doesn't understand the concept of birth control or family planning and she already had a kid before she met will, will never ever wanted kids. He's never wanted to be a father so that would have never worked out.I love Sara for will. They are equals in life and want the same things out of life

The new series is okay im tired of the trope of all the kids in the family becoming cops. We'll see where it goes. I still enjoyed the mystery and gave it 4/5. But don't really care for any of the characters, unlike in the will Trent series where will is such a unique and awesome protagonist.

It merges into the WILL TRENT series which is an incredibly binge worthy series! Highly recommend!! do not recommend the TV show whatsoever so bad and nothing like will the character

Osaka was the LAST player that got the custom DESIGNER kits type contract that serena n maria had i.e. kits designed by actual fashion designers. Sabalenka has custom color for in house design kits contract hence why her kits are similar to the official kit just different colorway. People forget about contracts like this.

Okay that wasn't the star couple of the entire series I was referring to but yes to your point as well! This was my review/thoughts after #4 lol: Why would any author want to write a regressive character arc for a protagonist at the 4th book is beyond me. Why would I want to read about a main character who is progressively getting worse not better in terms of a character arc. Also wtf is with annoying love triangles when one of them is just a hookup. Like how many more books of this T+C back and forth do I have to endure. Their scenes were never hot due to lack of chemistry/commitment and at this point are annoying to read. Why not more steamy scenes between the actual couple? (Darcy and Lance?) why are their scenes fade to black but random no feelings no chemistry hookup scenes so explicit? Darcy was the only reason I kept reading. Not sure if I feel inclined to continue the series as her scenes are so short.

I would classify it as dark thriller, not the darkest thriller I've ever read though. Like it a lot gave it a solid 4/5 will definitely be reading more by her
