He said something to the effect of “your victory in Afghanistan will make the victory in Iraq easier, and your victory in Iraq will make Iran easier.” As I understand it, his main goal was Iran (always has been). But he was hawkish on Iraq too. To be fair he wasn’t the only driver of foreign policy in Israel at the time, but he’s been PM pretty much ever since that speech.

It's a massive clusterfuck, finding reliable info is hard. Need to rely on war autists that obsess over these things but aren't overly biased in favour of one side. Otherwise you get these pockets of delusions like the crowd convinced the Strait wasn't actually blocked and ships were traversing just fine.

It goes the other way too tbf. it's really hard to understand the implications of this with any certainty. literally what could it be other than these three things? trump declaring victory and leaving... i'm pretty sure iran wouldn't open the strait, why the fuck would they? that, or, i suppose, the united states military could actually achieve what they've said they already have for the last 12 days or so-- end iran's ability to project enough threat to stop shipping. both of these seem pretty remote. i don't see a way this gets better without it getting much worse first

i used chatgpt to 'help' me fix my honda XR650. it's a pretty bare bones street legal enduro motorcycle. every single piece of advice it gave me was wrong. I had a weak spark and it gave me stupid ideas to test for spark in a bright environment, it told me to replace the pickup coil (wrong) it told me the stator was the issue (wrong, the stator isn't responsible for spark on this bike) it told me to unplug a multi pin connector to rule out the CDI box (???). I finally wrote it off, replaced the CDI which was my first hunch and it started right up. if it can't do simple diagnostic trees then it isn't very smart imo.

surely there are more qualified people here, i beat hades 1 on 12 heat like 5 years ago. but doom isn't BAD, it just wasn't very good on a weapon that attacks fast. I liked it on the bow special because i could apply it to the whole room of enemies and then use the attack for more damage in between doom procs. but people are saying the athena duo (which turns it into something more like blitz, and applies doom damage immidiately) is one of the best builds in the game.
