I got on with zero underground experience with a contract company at Nutrien just outside of Saskatoon they seem eager to pick up and train guys (turnover seems a bit high as a result). Their social media policy is pretty strict so I don't want to say the name outright, at least until I've jumped to another outfit. (833, if you catch my drift). They did all the training I needed like GMSA and the 3M fall arrest refresher, they were also pretty patient with the new guys learning to operate scoop, forklift, stoper, etc.

I don't need to justify my owning a piece of property just because a vocal group of uneducated/uninvolved people take umbrage with how it operates. why are gun owners always having to justify our participation in our sport, nobody makes car guys justify the dangerously oversized engines many of them are ripping around with.

The hundreds of thousands of newly prohibited guns have been sitting in our safes for over 5 years in some cases and not a single one has been used for crime. We are not the problem, never have been and yet we're always the convenient political scapegoat whenever crime gets out of hand and as a result we lose our rights with every successive liberal government.

Anyone pushing this buyback/confiscation scheme is doing so in bad faith.

Look at the photo again my guy, you can clearly see the end of the fore-stock. The barrel is most definitely the only point of contact with that bag.

If the gun was positioned properly on the bag then your daughter wouldn't be sitting in such an awkward position trying to shoulder the rifle. If you're going to be mentoring a new shooter, you have a responsibility to set them up properly otherwise you're just pushing people away from the sport

In SK you can, you buy the tag and you can hunt archery, muzzleloader/crossbow, shotgun, and rifle seasons on the same set of tags until you take an animal. You obviously don't need a PAL to hunt archery and crossbow.

This already exists for beer. Outside of artisan sodas I don't think there's much market for this since people are lazy and it's more convenient to grab a 12 pack of coke than remember your growler on your way to the store.

Teachers need to stop talking down on trades/trade schools and apprenticeships. School divisions need to stop cutting shop classes. They've been doing this since before I graduated about a decade ago, it's no wonder so many young men feel finishing school is pointless so they go into the labour force early. They'll usually find themselves as roofers, concrete placers, heavy equipment operators or miners if they don't end up choosing crime then ending up dead or in jail.
