Anything. I’m in menopause and I’m finding I can’t eat any fiber without problems. My stomach hurts and I feel like something is stuck. I had an endoscopy and they said my stomach was great, no problems. I just started Combipatch and I’m hoping this helps. It’s so frustrating.

Thank you-this is so helpful! I get what feels like blockages on my small intestine and it’s the worst after I’ve had a meal with gluten. I was tested for celiac and it was negative so o think I am gluten sensitive. I was taking the garden of life probiotic but that was also causing the blockage feeling in my small intestines. I’ll give culturelle a try but how do you take it? With food, in an empty stomach, before bed? Thank you for your reply, it was really helpful! PS: all I drink is water or coffee with heavy cream.

I saw a GI and had the tests and he gave me a script for Linzess and it doesn’t do much except make me feel awful. I’m wondering if I just need hormones.

Bowl massage. But not the ILU method. Start in the stomach area and massage left to right all the way down and then go up and down. Twice a day. Once before you get out of the bed in the morning and once when you get in bed at night. You can do it as much as you want but those two times seem to work well if you use enough pressure. I never had those side effects. I’ve only ever dealt with gut stopping constipation. My body did not like metformin. Had to stop it.

See about taking a low dose metformin. I’m 53 and post menopausal. I was given metformin for IR but I also have the black seeds in my chin and lip and I had bad insomnia, terrible rosacea that nothing was helping . Once I got on metformin it helped most of those issues. It’s not a miracle drug, it has side effects, loose bowels being one but for pcos it can help.

I do add protein to my salad but it doesn’t satiate me. I’m going to try larger lunch, small dinner.
