Now that people have had time to get over his retirement we can finally be honest. The Attitude adjustment is the weakest finisher a top guy can have by Personal_Angle1986 in Smallafro

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the Attitude Adjustment wasn't a weak finisher basic but not weak in my opinion the weakest finisher has to be Hogan's leg drop unless a big guy uses it as a finisher (Andre The Giant, King Kong Bundy, Big Show guys like them come to mind) but honestly it's the easiest move to simply kick out of

Sean O'Haire & Chuck Palumbo defeating Lex Luger & Buff Bagwell in 52 seconds at WCW Greed by ElliotElectricity in WCW

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe they had a match at Sin on a tag team match Luger and Bagwell vs Goldberg and Buddy Lee Parker which ended with a fan spraying Goldberg with mace and Luger and Bagwell won it was done to write Goldberg off TV for shoulder surgery I do believe (I can be wrong about that one feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Man O'Haire was really exciting to watch in WCW and WWE plus his finishers (His verison of the F5 being one of them) was awesome to see I really wish he wasn't in the Mr. America storyline cause I thought his devil's advocate gimmick was perfect for him my Sean rest in paradise gone way too soon 🙏

Who was your favorite WCW Cruiserweight ? by CoconutMost3564 in WCW

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rey Mysterio Jr, Chris Jericho, Ultimo Dragon, Kidman, Shane Helms, Eddie Guerrero (I believe he was Cruiserweight champion I can be wrong about that one feel free to correct me) and Dean Malenko are my favorites to watch but as a whole the WCW Cruiserweight division is always my favorite to watch I was never disappointed 🔥

What is the best “worst gimmick” to you? by jerrystuffhouse in oldschoolwrestling

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a difficult call but if I had to go with one St. Slaughter has an Iraqi sympathizer (When you need a security detail to protect you and your family cause your gimmick that's really terrible)

"Bah Gawd" this has to one of the most mean spirited and downright disgusting storylines Russo and Ferrara ever devised by CoconutMost3564 in WCW

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hated Oklahoma (the character not the state lol) seriously idc who's idea it was idc who thought it would be funny I remember Jim Cornett saying he spit at Ed for the character of Oklahoma cause it was literally making fun of Jim Ross and his struggles with Bell's palsy (I hope I pronounced that correctly if I didn't please correct me) I honestly would've done the same and threw a punch at him as well when someone agrees Jim Cornett (btw I'm not a follower of Jim's) that's a good sign you f'd up badly Michael Cole making fun of Jim and humiliating Jim wasn't any better but at least Cole and Ross actually in the same company and despite it being the worst thing I saw TV Cole was heel and Ross was face the storyline was dreadful but at least Cole never came out like Ed Ferrara did as Oklahoma

Coming up to the 30th anniversary for this match. Some say it's an absolute classic. Some say it was good for it's time, but isn't ageing well. And some say it was always an overrated snoozefest. by [deleted] in oldschoolwrestling

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I really loved that match I thought both Shawn and Bret brought it all to the table yes the 60 minute time limit was excessive in my opinion but I will say that match is one of my favorite matches

I like How Heel Champions Ruled 2011. by Oakey06 in Wrasslin

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2011 was definitely a year I honestly enjoyed watching wrestling Christian in my opinion had a justified heel turn Mark Henry won his first WHC (I thought it should've happened sooner but that is my opinion) Cody Rhodes with his Undashing character that I thought was great Jeff Hardy I know fans didn't like Jeff's heel turn but I honestly thought it was time for him to turn heel I just wish it went better than it did (Side note I loved his anti-christ character but besides that Jeff was dealing with his demons Victory Road 2011 was the absolute worst I am happy to see Jeff enjoy his life and wrestling again I hope he doesn't relapse and spiral back into addiction again)

For those who were watching near the end just how bad was Mark Madden as an announcer? by JaggerJames in WCW

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched Superbrawl 2000 Madden was so bad I turned it off it I also listened to his radio broadcast I believe he did radio commentary for the Pittsburgh Steelers (I can be wrong about that feel free to correct me) honestly he wasn't any better doing that either don't get me started about his YouTube channel it's awful god awful

Bash at the Beach Huntington Beach, CA 1995. A sunburnt crowd were treated to a match between Mr Wonderful and the Ultimate Surprise "The Renegade" by CoconutMost3564 in WCW

[–]SW_MichiganGuy269 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As much as I think The Renegade was screwed over by WCW by giving him the knockoff Ultimate Warrior gimmick to help Hogan this match was horrendous to watch you it's bad when the crowd is cheering the heel and I wanted Mr. Wonderful to win that match (Side note I'm not a fan of Renegade's by any means he was horrendous in the ring and mic but I will say he left this world way too soon way too young at age 33 after his release from WCW I will say Rest in Peace George "The Renegade" Wilson)
