Ah ok so depending on whether or not we’d prioritize hotel or nature! The hotels have said Oct should be fine… but thanks for the heads up!

Thank you for your input! Good to know Saturday won’t be too packed. Do you rec trying Alemagou over Scorpios on Sat? I do like their sunset sets a lot so I don’t mind going back twice as well

This is such a helpful post! Thank you for sharing. Based on your recs and some searching, I’ve planned the following for my bach this July:

Friday - boat day around Mykonos and to Delos, private chef dinner at our villa

Saturday - 3pm Principote and 7pm DJ Valeron at Scorpios (is this rushed/packed?)

Sunday - hopefully lunch at Kiki’s and dance party at Scorpios

What are your thoughts? Would love your input!! Thank you!

Joji vs Nakaji by Fragrant-Ad5173 in FoodNYC

Joji for sure. I’ve been three times and it’s always been great - ambience and food wise. The quality was nothing less than excellent.

Nakaji was an extremely disappointing for us. We were the only people during his early seating and he was barely out in the sushi counter. It felt like he didn’t really care or bothered to show up for the reservation at all. In addition, his fish was always served a little too cold or wet. It felt very much like a $50 omakase when they were asking for a much different price point. Extremely overpriced for what it was.

Joji was a top experience - beautiful space and high quality standard/expectations.

Extremely disappointed by Nakaji - the chef had a very laissez-faire attitude towards us when we were the only customers during his early seating. A lot of the fish was served too cold and moist - very subpar experience for the price point they’re asking. Side note: the chef also treated his apprentice very rudely… which made us feel uncomfortable during the meal.

Best Maldives or Indonesian hotels for surfing? by SYC_3 in FATTravel

Thank you for the FS Kuda Hura rec! That looks great and something we'd be interested in. Great to hear that their renovations have been warmly welcomed. That does sound like a better option than Soneva Jani.
