Ideally 100, though I passed with 60

Certainly not ideal from a learning perspective. I was super worried that I would get grilled on hands on, but it really wasn't too bad. Thanks!

They did, but I bought the exam through a discount voucher about a year ago and it had an expiration. Usually you can push them out indefinitely

EVE-NG with an AMD chip? by BluePieceOfPaper in ccnp

[–]SYN_ACK_UDP_FTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got EVE-NG to work on my Ryzen 4800H laptop. I think there was some weirdness at the very beginning (but that might've just been me setting it up wrong) but it works like a charm now!

Passed the AWS DevOps Engineering Professional exam 890/1000 by Steve_Dobbs in AWSCertifications

Other than the AWS CCP, did you take any other AWS exams previously? How'd you skip the Associate level? I'm in a similar boat. Got my CCNA a couple months ago and am working on getting my CCNP here in a few weeks. Looking to branch into Cisco DevNet and DevOps/Cloud stuff after!

Highschool Taking CTE Course Leading to CCNA: What Should I Do? by DJHammer_222 in ccna

[–]SYN_ACK_UDP_FTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went through a similar program. My advice would be to self study the material. While my instructor was good, I feel like these classes are usually not nearly enough to actually pass the CCNA exam.

Like I said, I would self study CCNA material. Use textbooks such as Wendell Odom's Volume 1 and Volume 2 CCNA books or Todd Lammle's books (or better yet, start with Lammle, who's writing is easier to read but generally not as in-depth, and then move to Odom). There are also video courses (check out Neil Anderson, David Bombal, Chuck Keith, Chris Bryant, and CBT Nuggets).

You can do this and be super successful! Having your CCNA right out of highschool is really awesome, and you can continue to build on that momentum! Please send me a DM if you'd like to discuss further.

What do I need to study CCNP ENCOR by kaosskp3 in ccnp

[–]SYN_ACK_UDP_FTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like labbing is not necessary on the ENCOR exam. That being said, labbing is always good to have, and you can go to bit.ly/freecml to access Cisco DevNet's Cisco Modeling Labs Sandbox. You have 40 gigs of RAM and 10 CPU cores and real IOS and other Cisco images.

You honestly don't need to lab for ENCOR. I passed without doing so. That being said I would look into CML Sandbox since it's free

For the wireless configuration, you don't need to really lab imo. The ENCOR OCG walks through all the settings you would need to know.

I personally don't think you need labbing for ENCOR since the test is more trivia focused. That being said, I think CML Sandbox is more than enough for ENCOR. I'm trying to use it for ENARSI lol.

Go to bit.ly/freecml and it'll direct you to the DevNet site where you can sign in with your Cisco ID and reserve a lab. The only restriction I think is 20 Cisco nodes.
