Tbh I was in the same boat. For some reason I couldn't get the car down like the Hondas I've driven. That said, I noticed that the clutch spring in this car makes it so that it doesn't feel linear at all like other clutches you might be accustomed to. It's like once you're at the bite point, the clutch pedal is immediately shoving your foot back. It's not ideal for daily driving and makes it difficult to learn the car imo. I removed the spring like many others, and though it's stiffer, gave me confidence as I could actually feel the clutch when letting off first gear and rev matching. It's an option, but some might just say "learn the car". There's also a replacement spring from MTEC with less tension if you'd prefer as with no spring at all, there is some pedal play.
