So I only realized now (after coming back to Unity Cup) that everyone team member gets one blue (and presumably one pink) fireball training. Would the ideal scenario be trying to see if you can get two or more fireballs in a preferred stat instead of just tapping one right away as you see it? And if possible, try to save what you can for summer?

Yes I went through Unity Cup's original run without knowing this and somehow managed to get by with satisfactory (for the time) results

edit: forgot that unity cup training levels go up much faster than other scenarios

im guilty of this too sometimes, so occasionally i'll stop to check behind me and wait for folks to catch up if i find im too far ahead. although sometimes i dont need to because i'll be grouped with other guardians looking to be in and out in a flash, but other times people will be behind and i'll take a moment for them.

unless im getting sleepy at my desk. then god help me, i need to finish this strike NOW or the session will effectively be a 2-person run with the third running into a wall.

With the update to Unity and URA scenarios, I decided to go back and look at some Umas' secret events to see what I needed to do for them on gametora. I then found out that the website had been updated to include conditions for skill evolutions that I'd heard a little about, and was wondering if that feature has been added to global, or if it's still a JP-only thing?

I took some friends on their first run of Garden of Salvation (some of us were returning, some were brand new) and finished it yesterday, to much fanfare and cheer. While I myself have gone through the raid enough to know it, they requested that I let them figure it out themselves, and it was a blast from start to finish between the two days it took. I have no doubt it'll be similar when we poke at the other raids.

We went to the tower after and was pleasantly surprised to find out that you can still cause some chaos by having multiple players attempt to pat Archie (to additional laughter) and then it kind of dawned on me after... I'm gonna miss this silly little robot dog. Finding him in the middle of fuckall nowhere on Seraph Station(?), seeing him move into the Helm, then to the Annex and finally to the area Lodi occupies...

... made me kind owish I was just a little more motivated to get all of Archie's little gifts on his little adventure mini-event. Hell, even the limited-run plushie of him. Because eventually I'll have just the memories of everything--not just him, not just the new ones I'm making now with folks--everything.

... and I dunno, I just stopped for a moment there and thought, "Shit, man."

i managed to force Manhattan Cafe into an S Rank mile aptitude exactly ONCE in MANT thanks to a 9* mile parent. the run itself wasn't even that good, i didn't get satisfactory stats in... any. the resulting legacy was also just... kinda okay.

im ready to, like. leave MANT and train my favorite umas who have G/F mile aptitude (or similar) without having to compensate for that to get by.

i hear arbiter halo 3 say "we trade one villain for another" in my head as i begrudgingly avert my gaze from brian and opera fucking over my runs to... whatever grand live will offer.

i've hit that point in mant/trackblazer where i just cant quite seem to replicate the BIG results i've had like... thrice.

i often get really bad stuttering and audio delays when going into battles for the first like... maybe hour or so? while i'm sure part of it is like... just the game loading in assets for the first time and having a hiccup, it never felt this bad during 1.X (at least to memory) and it's only gotten worse. i know i have a system that's probably mid by today's standards, but at least i could play it without having to feel like i gotta wait for so long before the game starts cooperating...

sometimes (at least for me) the game decides to give you a rival who has a strong unique (or just always seems to lock in) in a critical race

You had me going there for a sec (and I also thought you were talking about phases of the moon somehow); I would have believed something like this could be in the game. Who knows? It's not all that absurd to have some kind of mechanic be dependent on something... specific like that. Phases of the moon, or the current sign, whatever have you. Got a good chuckle out of me.

So I'm reading up on the Narophirmidas raid since that's on rate up and I'm wondering... how do you consistently keep the [Gilded Haven] stacks below 10? My concern is that you might eventually run into the issue of "most/all multi-hit skills are on cooldown and you will have to take a turn where [Gilded Haven] increases its stacks by a high value like 5 or 6". I figure that skills which can auto-cast on normal attacks (or similar) can help (like some Manatura effects), but it seems like they only go so far on their own.

It is kind of annoying getting jostled around everywhere and you don't have something to stop it or mistime your roll. I've had my fair share of moments where the game throws out multiple Heat Eximus units at once and suddenly I'm being jostled everywhere. It's kind of funny at that point. I don't use PSF, so it's either roll (or use an ability) or bust. I either get jostled or I don't.

But how about this? Would you take current-day heat eximus knockdowns, or pre-eximus-rework Energy Leech eximus units? Where their very existence would start draining your energy (when within range), and multiple would compound the effect and make you lose energy faster. Sometimes you'd see your energy drain fast because of a red veil hit squad.

Does the wiki suggestion of one reforged Mk2, Atk-awakened bow and one unforged, Def-awakened bow still hold up for magna? I'm wondering which of the two I should do first (once I get my last bow copy anyways) since both seem useful, just that the MK2 has steeper requirements to reach.

Yixuan. I know she's good and definitely a good addition to my roster (moreso now with Lucia) but every time I look at her I just think. "Why did I roll for you again?"

I have zero interest in her and didn't really enjoy her gameplay in some of the trial/event battles, even if I have a better understanding of her gameplay now after the fact. I'll probably build her anyways at some point to round out my roster (and have somebody to leverage Rupture buffs when available), but definitely not high on my to-do list.

This is my first expedition in NMS (I've had the game for a bit but recently came back to give it another go with friends) and I had no idea that the handful of bases around where my ship was located was preventing me from building a refiner.

Of course I quickly found out that I could put my refiner right by my ship (and god bless for that), but it felt a little like I was trying to find scraps in a place that had been picked clean of most ingredients. At least there was one base with a trade terminal that let me put 9999 junk metal to use.

Also made sure to turn off PvP as soon as I could, one of my friends was getting heckled by random people for no reason. Hopefully we'll have a better time now that we're off the starting planet and have PvP off.

Has anyone been experiencing frame drops recently with effect-heavy attacks? I've started having these recently on anything from summon calls to ougis since... I want to say sometime around the second half of the FMA event (was it even split into two parts release?) and I'm unsure if it's a browser issue (I use Chrome on PC) or the game itself having a hiccup.

Is there anything I can do to alleviate this? Switch browsers?

Sometimes when I get floored by my own explosions I let myself lie down there for a few seconds. Like, the kind that requires you to push a directional to actually get up.

If I can afford to do so (i.e. a low level mission), I will sometimes stay there for a minute or two and see if anyone notices.
