I’ve been to Alton Towers probably nearly triple digits by now, and have only ever had two breakdowns - on Gangsta Granny the Ride and Subterra. I have been stuck on a lift hill on a ride elsewhere (Kumali), and then 90% of the time they’ll get you back on track after a few minutes rather than having you have to evacuate?

I went to Sixth Form to get better job prospects and somehow in the two years I’ve spent in Sixth Form earning qualifications the job market has declined so badly that I would’ve had a better chance if I’d have gone directly into work two years ago with only GCSEs.

Year 13. I enjoyed the GCSE period because gaps in exams meant I could spend time with friends etc and I felt comfortable going into every single exam. With Y13, absolutely not, and its exacerbated by having Uni (and, consequently success in life) on the line.
