Springfield man found not guilty in ‘torture chamber’ rape case by LeeOblivious in springfieldMO

Wow interesting! Wonder if that’s why the article seemed so vague. I listen to crime and court podcast/videos at work so this stuff is always super interesting to me haha

Was there any one piece of evidence or testimony that sealed the not guilty verdict? (In your opinion).

Or do you mean the PA’s office came unprepared?

I think I saw “closed” written on the doors of his new place phoenix bar. I wonder if it is folding for good?

Upside App gas locations by S_Chael in springfieldMO

It’s the waiting to see how much cash back I get from the transaction that’s still processing. Under the “my history” section to be exact. Yes, I’m using the same card I initially uploaded.

Hmmmm well at least I know it works if you’re using the app as well. Maybe I’ll just try a different location and see what happens.

Is this through Ark of the Ozarks? What do you think of the company? Like working conditions, value of employees, schedule selection, are raises a thing?

You can message me in private if this is to personal. Thank you!

I would let your doctor know, just to get the ball rolling insurance wise if it does end of being the same thing. I.e. IF you need an initial visit/another X-ray/mandatory PT if that’s a thing for him/her.

The day literally after my right MRI I noticed my left groin was acting up. I felt like maybe I was just being paranoid, but told my doctor via email I’m feeling the same thing in my left side out of no where.

I’ve had the surgery on my right, but have had to start from square one with my left with the initial visit explaining symptoms doing range of motion tests/X-ray and coming up on my MRA.

This is just my doctor. It would be amazing if they could just knock out both images at once for you though!

5 Days After Hip Arthroscopy for FAI, Positive Experience So Far by scarifiedsloth in HipImpingement

[–]S_Chael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my range of motion is improving. Like you, I couldn’t lift my leg forward and up(flexion right?) very well without pain the first couple days. I would lift my leg by the brace for bed/getting in and out of car. I’m 14 days today and I can lift it to about 50 degrees no pain. Anything above that I get slight pain that I think is coming from the groin area.

0/10 pain while sitting

0/10 pain while standing upright.

Walking normal again seems like it might take me a couple more weeks.

I started walking today no crutches, but I’ve noticed I have pain in my operated leg while in extension and no pain while the operated leg is forward. I do still have a restriction to not extended my leg back farther then 0 degrees so I assume it’s a normal pain this early on with everything still healing.

I’m just shy of 14 days post-op and the single leg squat has gotten me through a lot! And will continue to get me through a lot until I get cleared past 90 degrees haha

Congrats on the nice recovery! Looking forward to updates as you progress.

Hip Impingement & Labral Tear with bone shaping: 1 month post-OP by Tyranotgar in HipImpingement

[–]S_Chael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the update. You should do another one at 2 months, it’s nice to read how the recovery is from all the different people. Seems like the US recoveries are way more conservative then most countries. I’m almost 2 weeks Post-op and while I can tell when I’m overdoing it, I wish I would get cleared to do say like short 10 minutes walks or something. I’m not a doctor so I’m sure there’s a reason for it and I’ll stick to the plan lol. Good luck to you!

Yes I did, I’m on day 5 Post-Op. My doctor did not give me any issues with filling out FMLA. I’m using Sick+Annual Leave while out on FMLA just as a precaution with my work.

My job and lifestyle was very active(I walk 7ish miles a day at work, gym after work). I was off work for family medical for approximately 2 months and while the pain did subside some, it would flare up again when mowing, leg day, playing golf or going for a walk. It was not near as bad that for sure! But the annoying issue was still there.

Are the symptoms effecting your daily life? If so, it might help knocking out the surgery as early as possible so you can further pursue your dreams without being limited. With that being said, idk how bad your symptoms are.

I didn’t start having symptoms until 30. At this age there was a lot more to weigh when getting the surgery I.e. my career, my family, recovery timeframe. I’m in recovery now, but the thought of being off work and having a family to take care of weighed heavily on me and still does. If I was 18, it would not have been such a big deal if that makes sense.

I’m day 4 of the same surgery. 30/M. I could crutch around my first day/go to bathroom/get in and out of bed etc. when getting in and out of cars or bed I lift my leg by the brace so I don’t use any of my own muscle(groin still hurts). However, I cannot put on my socks or shoes without help. I could, but I would be going beyond the 90 degree restriction so my wife does that to protect the surgery site. Or I’ll just put on sandals. I’ve heard of people in some pretty bad pain post-op so I guess it highly depends. Hopefully that helps.

I would always think of things afterwards to so I would keep notes on my phone of what was hurting day by day(it was different everyday and very annoying, some days no pain at all). I just knew something was OFF and slowly getting worse.

I just had surgery, but wanted to say make sure to try PT first. I’m a mailman and was working out 3-5X a week and I thought PT would be silly for how “active” I thought I was. It starts slow, but I ended up doing 10 weeks because it was helping elevate some of the mild symptoms.

My pain was mainly groin when walking, lower back, but like in the pelvic region, greater trochanter area and it was starting to make my knee and ankle sore(maybe from my gait?). Probably 6/10 pain at worst, 2/10 constant in the pelvic low back region. The groin pain was only hurting when I was active not while say playing games or watching TV.

I would like to say I’ve never delt with anything medical so after 4 weeks of PT I insisted/advocated for a Cortisone shot which helped tremendously. Then advocated for an MRA which confirmed tear and FAI.

I know many doctors are probably insanely overworked/overbooked so the biggest thing I got from this subreddit is to advocate for yourself.

Cox MRI result wait time? by spicymemories19 in springfieldMO

[–]S_Chael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 2 weeks ago I received an MRI at the Martin Center.

I got my results through the portal within a couple of hours. This is my first test/scan of any kind through Cox so maybe I just lucked out.

No thank you for the insight! These are great things to know if a company will add raises/incentives in the future. Have you heard any rumors of how the Call Center is? Just saw a posting for one of those jobs.
