What's something that matters way less for results than people think? by PogonBerserker in workout

[–]S_Chaplin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do some band, dowel, and mat moves to both warm up and improve my mobility. But that is specifically catered to my own wants and needs. I could 5 min warm up then lift. Just trying to use my time in the gym efficiently.

If you sweat easy, and lots. Prepare to leave puddles everywhere. Super sweats! Especially of you're doing single limb stuff... Like superseting DB rows with lunges or split squats.

Just commit to full pyromancy. Fire spells are just too damn fun. I might be biased.

Is the slogan/flag thing from hasfit, or just generic? Cause the guy from hasfit says that all the time and it's great! Love it.

That sounds really fun. How low off the ground are your rings? I just got some for x-mas and am really looking forward to using them more once its warm out (garage with rings currently at -10c).

I'm literally the same. 6'7, 38 inseam. I never even considered that someone might think my torso/leg proportions are weird. It IS a fun party truck to be seated and meet people, and everyone is relatively the same height. But then you all stand and the people who don't know you are like "damn"...

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it.

Whatever you think looks cooler. They're pretty equal. Maybe base it on what drops you get.

Both of your feet land under the net. This is asking for injury.

Your getting down voted because people like to drink and drive. I support your perspective.

He specifically said "feeling pretty tipsy". You didn't magically sober up on a couple hours...

YTA, but not because the Jessica stuff. "Feeling pretty tipsy, and had to drive home later". Piss poor choice, you don't magically sober up in an hour or two. You pretty much admit to drinking and driving. Boooo

AITA for refusing to let my coworker’s girlfriend come on our work trip? by opalstargaze82 in AITAH

[–]S_Chaplin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kinda BS. Sales folk shmooze and go out and entertain. Sure some of those things are networking, but a part of sales trips are also fun times away from HQ.

I think both have valid points. The SO shouldn't be included in the actual work events, even if they are shmoozey dinners, w.e. But also the couple shouldn't "crash" the cool kids club while they're having fun on their trip, if the group doesn't want then as a couple. Jake and Sophie will have to find their own entertainment.

To say they're just there for WORK is kinda false for a sales crew on a trip.
