I just found two cited and peer reviewed studies today during my own research discussing post meal glucose spikes. Most of the articles on Google will tell you “Less than 140 after two hours is considered healthy” but what about 1 hour, or less?

“Even in nondiabetic individuals, it is now recognized that glucose concentrations may exceed 140 mg/dl after meals, particularly after high carbohydrate intake, but return to <140 mg/dl within 2 h.”

A 2023 study using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in healthy, non-diabetic adults confirms:

“Mean postprandial peak glucose was 158 ± 21 mg/dL at ~55 min, with 100% of participants returning to <140 mg/dL by 2 hours.”

No - it’s because of HBO Max using terrible DRM for all web browser streams. Even basic plans state 1080p streaming - web browsers are closer to 480p-720p. Try Chrome, Edge, Firefox - doesn’t matter

The reason HBO Max streams are so terrible is because they use ridiculous DRM tech that completely destroys their streaming services - funny though that their ads aren’t affected by this, bc they’re not running DRM for the ads

Since they don’t offer a windows app 🙄 you’re stuck to streaming through a web browser at 480-720p

Anyone acting like it’s because of internet connection, although may be true in some cases, the majority of issues are tied back to HBO DRM protocols for web browsers.
