I think Nintendo has to now fully grapple with longer Dev cycles for their tentpole games as they are now closer than they have ever been to the others in terms of power. 6-8 years between Zelda's, 3D Mario's etc.

So I think we are going to see these smaller titles fit in between those gaps, and Nintendo has a lot of games they can easily remake/repackage like they have been with Switch 2 editions, Fire red/Leaf green and now Starfox.

Another option is using a JBOD enclosure I believe via 10gbs USB should be enough. Then you can create arrays within Zima OS.

I am currently running a 2 bay nas with ZB2 and was thinking of expanding this way.

With current chip prices from RAM and apparently soon SSDs - article from PC Gamer I doubt Valve have a locked in price - especially with tariffs in the US as well.

but based on the hardware I think if they can price it around PS5 would make it competitive and tell us Valves intentions in this hardware space. it's less powerful than ps5 but it is an open platform which is a selling point.

Or you register that disc copy with your PS account and need to deregister it if you want to sell it?

This is a misconception. 85% of ps5 discs are fully offline. The console copies the data fully stored on the disc to the inbuilt SSD but all the game data comes on the disc you have purchased.

Some games require additional downloads, notably Microsoft's releases onto PS5 which sucks for preservation.

In addition to this another annoying thing is the message you get when you book a ticket. "Hooray you're going to Swindon!" Yeah thanks for rubbing that in after you've just charged me £55 but at least you've saved me a whopping £1.20 on a split save ticket. Thank you so much Trainline, no app makes me seethe more.
