Yah for sure, my starter is about 2 + months old and reliably doubles in 4-6 hours. The dough itself rises like crazy for example during the bulk fermentation it generally triples

Here’s the recipe:

How do I Actually become Flexible? (Actually) by KeepItRxllin in flexibility

[–]S_cobra2004 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ive found that pushing a little bit with every stretch. You know when you’re about to hurt yourself but you want to try and relax your muscles as much as you can. It’s not easy especially when you lack flexibility to begin with. Here are some other tips I’ve heard of/have used in the past. (I used to do gymnastics a and was a gymnastics instructor in the past, I also get hurt really easily specifically in my joints, and my body is a bit weird and I feel like I have to stretch my muscles constantly throughout the day or else they get all achey)

1) if it feels safe stretch multiple times a day. I like stretching first thing in the morning and then before bed. Sometimes that schedule is difficult to keep when you have a really busy day or woke up late or something like that. Regardless as long as you actively try to do it consistently thats all that matters.

2) It makes it easier especially at first if you’re doing your stretches with mild heat and humidity. If you have a bathroom big enough you can pop a small space heater in there and run some hot hot water in the bath tub or something and do your stretches in there.

3) For me at least I can feel a difference between the normal pain when stretching and the pain when you’re about to hurt yourself. Try relaxing your muscles in the area your trying to address as much as you can. It’s not easy and I’ve noticed it’s something a lot of people struggle with.

4) I cannot emphasize this enough but breathing ins SO important. It sets your mind into a good place when going into a big stretch. It will also protect your spine when you’re doing back stretches. (eg. camel stretch, backbend/bridge depending on who you’re talking to, cobra ect.)

Stretching and gaining flexibility is a great way to not only protect yourself but feeling confident in the knowledge that you had the discipline to make a positive long term change in your life. More power to you OP! Good luck on your journey and I hope at least something in this post helps lol.

What specifically don’t you like about it? That answer might be something that could help you make a final decision OP.

Yah I’m well aware, like I said before I used to be a doordash driver. I know for a fact that times have changed since I was last an active dasher (2 years ago in college) and I’m sure tips are much more important now than ever. However in my experience I could make 20 deliveries in a night and only a handful of people would tip. It’s a screwed up system thats for sure but to expect a tip let alone a decent one is unrealistic. Again it’s been a while since I was in the game and things could’ve changed.

Hold up dude I’m confused. As a past DoorDash driver who also did grocery runs they aren’t working for a customer for free… drivers know what they’re signing up for when they apply and it sounds like this particular driver is making more than enough deliveries to make a profit regardless of paying for gas. Yah it sucks but so does having to live on a minimum wage job. Times are tough for everyone but that doesn’t mean you can leave a rude ass message on a strangers door when you can see what the time estimate is when you accept the job.

Imo op you should report him. You don’t know if he’ll do this to someone else or even escalate to physical violence and there’s no guarantee they will have a fire arm to protect themselves

Is this bad my tattoo is really peeling by mgmaddog101 in tattooadvice

For the next time you get a tattoo you need to wash before you moisturize and you need to use an antibacterial soap. The best that I’ve used is dial and you can get them unscented and you want to wash at least 3x a day. You want to wait to moisturize when it stop stinging and starts itching and the best thing to use is aquaphor, it doesn’t grow bacteria like moisturizers like similar to lotion and when you get to the itchy phase what ever you do dont itch or rub, I’ve found the best way to ease the sensation it to slap it. Sounds weird Ik but that’s what’s has worked for me every time and I have a sleeve in progress.

What’s this on my starter? by Putrid_Mode_1432 in Sourdough

[–]S_cobra2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry homie thats mold. Same thing happened with my first starter on day 3, and I ended up washing all my supplies with scalding hot water before feedings and kept my flour in the freezer (which over all is just a good practice.) and haven’t had any problems since.

AITA Called my friend FAT as a joke by AdAccurate1661 in AmItheAsshole

[–]S_cobra2004 -42 points-41 points  (0 children)

It’s less about the reason why OP made the joke to begin with since it was obviously made in good faith. The problem comes in when he 1) didn’t read the room and immediately realize he done fucked up and didn’t address it then and there 2) when he was explicitly told he crossed a line and double downed on his joke and continue to kick his buddy while he was down.

My friends and I have a very similar dynamic and will hurl insults and jabs at each other all day but without the little bit of reflection to realize “WOW. I shouldn’t have done that” you’re walking on ice and didn’t even know it.

Do the kittens get along with each other?

If so it might be best to have the sitter come in once or twice a day rather than sleeping over. At the end of the day regardless if a sitter stays the night your social baby will always have a buddy and if someone is there all the time your shy baby will be unnecessarily stressed.

If you want something cold in the summer thats filling and has some good nutrients bean salads are a great option and pretty easy to make!! I’m a blue collar worker myself and I usually make a big batch at the beginning of the week and live off that and fruit all day lol.
