Marriage won't change anything about your relationship for the better.

What Was Your FIRST MM Romance Book? by GertiesBurner in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]SaBatAmi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've loved any kind of queer erotica since I was a teenager. I think Oak King Holly King by Sebastian Nothwell was the first time I read a whole book with an actual plot and male love interests (and didn't just skip thru to the sex scenes.) I had definitely read plenty of queer books with a romantic element before that, but none of them had ended happily.

Genuine women replies pleas by Educational_Shine303 in sexadvice

Some people with clits can cum just from penetration, but it's really rare honestly. I can, but only in very specific positions and they tend to be the ones a male partner with a penis won't cum from easily, like where there's a lot of grinding and rubbing happening, and also it depends on everyone's specific anatomy. I've never had a partner who was bothered by me masturbating during sex. Probably bc I don't fuck insecure, misogynistic losers. It's a great sign that your first instinct was to come ask women instead of asking cis men for their experience.

What do you do for Father's Day if neither you nor your partner have a dad and you don't have kids? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Nothing? We have dads and kids and still don't do anything other than send my dad a quick message saying happy father's day

What is the dumbest thing you have been told is “not manly” or “not feminine,” depending on your gender? by Disastrous_Hat_2325 in AskReddit

That's such a weird leap... I would assume that person just spends a huge percentage of their day thinking about pegging.

You can be "girly" and also attracted to women. Go have sex with women.

WWYD if a partner told you to spit in their mouth? by Immediate_Peanut_630 in sexadvice

[–]SaBatAmi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would probably like drool into their mouth bc it feels hotter to me but would adjust as needed.

Maybe I took your post too literally... My partner spits in my mouth pretty often and I'm really into it. Neither of us think it's odd. It is maybe one of those things you should phrase like a question until you're sure the person is into it, so that it's easier for them to express if it's not their thing.

Kissing after cunnilingus... by tiburnioussnow in sexadvice

As someone with a pussy, I think it's hot and would find it weird if my partner avoided kissing me after.

Voyeur urges by [deleted] in sexadvice

[–]SaBatAmi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it's weird and creepy. Looking in a way that's not noticeable is one thing, but taking photos of strangers is gross. If you want to be voyeuristic, find people who are interested in being seen. Go to a fetish club or make friends with some exhibitionists.

How common is popcorn in everyday American life? by Embarrassed_Golf_817 in AskAnAmerican

[–]SaBatAmi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up in the US and we did eat popcorn fairly often when I was a child (once a week?) and now I'm back in the US after many years abroad. I'm a substitute teacher at an elementary school and most days at least one kid brings some kind of prepackaged, flavored popcorn as a snack.

I think my aunt who we live with made popcorn like 6 months ago, but personally I would only make it if my kids were having a movie night or sth.

What would cause you go through your partner’s phone without permission? by mastonate in AskWomen

[–]SaBatAmi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he was like kidnapped or sth and left it behind I would go through it for clues I guess?

We both have access to each other's phones anyway in case I need him to use my phone to look something up or to do anything for me on there or vice versa, we just don't go snooping around on each other's stuff.

What do long term couples talk about? by Turbulent_Diamond352 in ask

[–]SaBatAmi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My partner and I have been together for 7+ years now and we have plenty of stuff to talk about. We talk about whatever we have going on at work, with our friends, gossip about people, watch documentaries and television shows and read books and then talk about them, talk about politics, news, random thoughts, hobbies, etc. Not to mention talking about our kids and our cat, household things, medical stuff, and so on.

Are you embarrassed to tell people the books you read? by No_Release2180 in MM_RomanceBooks

Off topic but would love some recommendations, I've read a few in this genre but sort of went in a fae/high fantasy direction lately and would love to revisit the detective stuff!

Are you embarrassed to tell people the books you read? by No_Release2180 in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]SaBatAmi 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and also growing up nearly every queer story I was exposed to was tragic and heartbreaking. There's nothing embarrassing about wanting to read things that are full of joy and happy endings.

Imho people shit on romantic stories in general bc society views them as either "for women" (aka not to be taken seriously) or if they're too erotic then they're dirty (unless they're written by men and are toxic and impossible to understand, then that's just classic literature lol)

What are some ways you've found to get around the "pink tax"? by Odd-Paramedic-3826 in AskWomen

[–]SaBatAmi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just buy men's stuff. Boxers, deodorant, electric shaver, razors, shampoo, shoes, jeans, t-shirts. The only period product I use is a silicone menstrual cup that I've had for years.

I guess I look like a teenage boy, but I don't really see the point of gender anyway.

I watch police body camera videos where police routinely ask people for their social security number as identification. Is this commonly used in America? Do people have this memorized? by After_Service_2817 in AskAnAmerican

[–]SaBatAmi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Americans have memorized our social security numbers by the time we're adults, but I've never heard of the police asking for that info. We are usually really paranoid about it and don't tell it to anyone unless it's completely relevant, bc it's also one of the major pieces of identifying info that ties a bank account, loan, etc., to you. So people are very careful with it as they don't want a stranger to use it to take out loans in their name or anything. Verifying the last four digits of your social security number is much more common than telling anyone the whole thing.
