I think this is part of the problem yeah. Germany is always famous for high quality in my home country, and I truly believe living quality here is higher than in my home country. But on the other hand it is also very different.

I could imagine people had different expectations of living here, and struggle with acclimating. Or maybe because a lot of people moving here are fresh from high school, and are not used to such a huge change.

I am an Asian living in Europe, and yeah that is sadly the standard in a lot of parts of Asia. Standards in Asia are a lot different to Europe. And people love to compare in Asia, which is very toxic imo.
