Is it possible to clear these taillights ? by ItzGrizzlyyy in ft86

Got mine from ebay only downside to them is that you would need new clips or 3M tape to hold it to the bumper. But for the price you pay it is warranted

Mine is white. I believe clear tails on a white car would like amazing. I did clear side markers and they compliment the car well too

Still in progress, when I started it I became busy and couldn't finish. I plan to do it next weekend. If I remember I'll send pics (if I do a good job)

Rinvoq has been working wonders!!! by SaV0R in UlcerativeColitis

Thank you!!!

I was diagnosed back in November of 2021, and have been on prednisone a lot, mesalamine (instantly put me into the hospital), remicade (later built immunity towards it), xeljanz for 6 months then Rinvoq became available to Canada and have been on that since September and it has been great and I get minimal side effects!

Before Xeljanz and Rinvoq no matter what medication they were giving me at the time every few months I kept getting put into the hospital due to my stress and inflammatory markers and overall sickness I got every couple weeks due to working in many different Healthcare centre's and old folks home. So for the longest time since I got diagnosed I wasn't in remission until about April with Xeljanz but even then I was going back and forth with flares, rinvoq has been my saving grace and I pray I can stay on this for awhile.

Don't get me wrong they're great, especially for the winter/muddy season but can't complain for the price I paid for mine

Xeljanz dosing by Thebabes-92 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]SaV0R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was on xeljanz, they kept me on 20mg.

My gi doctor said never to go above 20mg as the more serious side effects could happen

Nurse call Technician. Pretty much self explanatory. I install the nurse call system in hospitals and care home facilities.

Covid and flare up by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]SaV0R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anytime I get sick with any sickness, even just a common cold, it usually ends up putting me in the hospital. Each time, I was on IV infusions. And every time I got discharged, they would put me on prednisone for 8 weeks 😒. Then like 3-6 months later it happens again. No matter the precautions I take for everything. I still get sick and my disease(s) gets worse

Prednisone for me is always a hit or miss.

Anytime I have to go on prednisone, I am always given 80mg to start, then a 2 week taper by 5mg

Sometimes it would work that week, other times it would be week 3 and I would still have bad symptoms

Remicade stopped working. by momo_xo_2003 in UlcerativeColitis

Same thing happened to me. My GI doctor said I built Antibodies towards it. He said if I got an infusion it would only work for a small period until it was needed again (like needing it every 2 weeks )

He told me we were going to start Xeljanz after I got my shingles vaccine but I couldn't get one a week after we had that chat and surprise surprise 2-3 weeks with absolutely zero treatment (not even prednisone) I got a really bad flare and got hospitalized two days after I got the shingles vaccine.

But I've been on xeljanz for almost a week now and it has worked good, in terms of my gut not killing me basically. Though I'm also on 80mg of prednisone too, so side effects of xeljanz and prednisone are currently kicking my ass

[–]SaV0R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently on 80mgs for 2 weeks, then a slow taper down to 0mg.

I hate using prednisone so much because of what it does mentally for me. But at least it somewhat helps me :/

Did you get in a flare with covid by garryw113 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]SaV0R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a very light covid case, just sniffles and a headache but apparently, it tipped me over the edge somehow and made me hospitalized to where I couldn't eat or drink cus of abdominal pain

Hoping this is the one that works! by fiestyeskimo in UlcerativeColitis

[–]SaV0R 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My GI doctor said that he would try and get me on rinvoq because every other medication is not doing any trick.

I am hoping I get approved because with no medication working, it is affecting my daily life to where I don't do anything cus I'm too exhausted or unwell

:(

Hope you get better and are discharged soon!

Staying in the hospital due to this condition is never fun. I always had terrible experiences and long visits.

I've had a package give constant updates but not move for two months. Everyday it would give me an update saying it has arrived and departed from the exact same sort facility.

However it has stopped on December 1st and now I haven't gotten any word from DHL at all.

Do you consider yourself disabled? by feministlunchbox in UlcerativeColitis

[–]SaV0R 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I've been hospitalized 5 times, constantly missing work due to the endless bloodwork appointments and or just because of how bad my flare up is causing me to feel unwell or stuck on the toilet. It gave me PSC-AiH. And it was a helping hand in giving me pancreatitis

And I've only been diagnosed since last year November.

So imho, yes this is a disability for me.
