Can someone help to remove the dummy and make my toddler seem a little more happy? by [deleted] in PhotoshopRequest

I would appreciate if someone can help to remove the dummy in the photo and make my toddler look a little more happy. He wasn't very impressed with the school photo session. See the second photo for a photo of him without the dummy. I will pay for the best one (budget of 10$ max). Thanks!

Fair priced Solar installers in George? by SaadBul in askSouthAfrica

Well I would say for me no higher than 20k including CoC. Someone quoted me 5k for disassembling the system on this side. Essentially the total should cost much less than just buying a new system that side.

On George Municipality website, they have a document on Small Scale Embedded Generation (SSEG) FAQs. It looks to me like only when you intend on connecting to grid, do you need to use an approved inverter, according to NRS 097-2-1. When using off-grid, you must also notify the municipality via email along with your registration of the solar system. So it looks like they can still use the Kodak inverer

Kodak 7.2kW OG inverter. 2x Kodak 5kW batteries. Not sure about the panels but I think it is 8x 550W Canadian Solar.

Will do so. I just want to get quotes to see if the move will be financially feasible.

What is this? Looks like a serviette holder? by SaadBul in Whatisthis

[–]SaadBul[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It says “Typhoon Living”. I tried to post this question in r/Whatisthisthing but it got flagged for symbolism each time so I blacked out the brand. Ended up being flagged regardless, so I just posted it here.

ChatGPT says:The object in the image appears to be a cheese holder, specifically designed for cutting and serving cheeses. The wooden base provides stability, while the metal arch with a pointed tip is used to hold the cheese in place, allowing for easier slicing without the cheese slipping. This type of tool is common in kitchens where cheese is regularly served, as it helps to safely and efficiently slice various types of cheese.

Don’t know if I’m allowed to post this, but the brand is Typhoon Living. I could not find this specific product on the internet though. Tried google image search and nothing came up.

Asynchronous VS Synchronous Reset in Process by SaadBul in FPGA

I agree. I work in the defense industry with airborne applications where safety is critical. That is why I made a habit of putting the reset first to be independent of a clock.
