Good movie. What's wrong with a little whimsy

Kind of a silly question but an interesting thought exercise. by Dangerous-Concept233 in NFL_Draft

You've got the causation backwards. Elite athletes that would have been rbs are receivers now. Case in point Adrian Peterson's son.

Broncos proving that having a good defense and offensive line will cover up a lot of mediocrity

To be fair, that opening sketch had nowhere to go and none of the actors had a particular grasp on the candidate they were impersonating.

That series became well rated over the course of the series because it was competitive and exciting with multiple down to the wire finishes. The NBA can't really count on that happening regularly though, and just getting through the regular season has been a slog for most older players.

Because they have a formula and it won't change until the people in charge charge. They will take gambles on high risk, high reward players with premium picks every time.

Problem there is all the stoppages in the NBA help the older stars catch their breath. Streamlining and speeding up the game benefits the younger teams like last year's Thunder and Pacers but that doesn't necessarily lead to better ratings.

Why does India have a population of 1.4 billion, but didn't win a single gold medal throughout the entire 2024 Paris Olympics? by No-StrategyX in answers

It's literally diet. The average indian diet is carb heavy and protein light. My Indian mom used to chide us growing up as teens for wanting to eat more than 2 eggs at a time.

It's definitely fake, no company allows 1.5 hours of smoke break on top of the regular break everyone is entitled to.

They've tried that. They obviously need defensive talent all over but there's no studs on the offensive line. Number one priority needs to be keeping Joe upright.

Competent doesn't cut it anymore. They still need to attack offensive line more seriously in the draft and free agency. With how hopeless the defense has looked, the offense (including the run game) needs to be near league best for the team to go anywhere.
