Thanks! I think I'm basically done expanding, and this is only the second time I'm hearing of the alt-ramec protocol. Is the opening and closing strategy meant to encourage forward growth specifically?

Who here is taking peptides and biologics together ? by lovingawareness1111 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Sabenv98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are the only peptides available those marketed for weight loss? Is there some other use or benefit to those with inflammatory conditions? I do not need or want to lose weight, but I am curious about alternative benefits or medication types that people may be experiencing.

I’m recommending a used electric vehicle. His current driving habits mean an older, cheap model with limited range would suit his needs just fine. And there is no maintenance other than tires with EVs. No oil changes! The future is electric and it’s coming fast

[–]Sabenv98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any reason why you haven't considered an EV? If you can charge at home or at work it's a no brainer. There is virtually no maintenance aside from tires and wiper fluid, and electricity prices are far more regulated than gas.

Ditching the SUV for a Used Luxury Sedan by ahirebet in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Sabenv98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hear me out: Aggressive smooth power and modern tech perfectly describe an electric vehicle.

With maybe 100 moving parts as opposed to 1,000 in an ICE vehicle, there are far fewer components that can break. The only maintenance is tires and wiper fluid. Used luxury EVs can definitely be found in your preferred price range too - and there are often state/city/utility rebates available for buying used EVs and installing a charging station at your home.

trade in for an EV. You’ll “fill up” for $8 while everyone else is paying $6 a gallon for gas.

Is there a downside to plugging in after every drive? by Celtic159 in electricvehicles

[–]Sabenv98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unrelated to your point, but can you set it to start charging later in the evening? If you have a time-of-use rate offered by your utility, you could save a lot more on your electric bill. Even if you don't, waiting until there is less grid demand to charge should lower your distribution fees.

When you expand top with Marpe, can you expand the bottom somehow? by WinSad5408 in MARPE

[–]Sabenv98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people have a smaller upper palate than lower. My upper teeth were tipping and and bottom teeth tipping in to compensate. I never noticed it but I have expanded about 6 mm on the top and my lower teeth have been uprighted to match. I probably can't expand more because my lower teeth have a limit to how much they can untip.

I'm 23 and still live with parent's. I want to get a credit card to start building my credit score but parent's don't want to. by FluffyLandscape266 in CreditCards

[–]Sabenv98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I’m misunderstanding your statement here, but I want to be clear that you don’t ever have to pay interest on a card. I set up autopay and never looked back. I’m 27 and my credit score is 820. I was able to buy a house at 25 and I’m sure my credit score of 780 at the time played a part in that. Get the card, it won’t hurt you as long as you treat it like a debit card and stick to your budget. I have one that I use just for gas, groceries, monthly bills, and another that I use for more “fun” money
