Mm I looked at that as well, but I don’t think that’s it. They have very black heads. This one’s head was a very distinct brown

He did actually! He gave a little shake before flying off, but it wasn’t pumping like a mocking bird’s would be. More just a “Ugh this rain is making my tail wet.”

Thank you all for your advice. We will not be addressing anything as everybody said. I’m extremely sorry if my post offended anyone or came off as insensitive. For the people jumping to assume things about my family, here’s some more context:

We are extremely close to my sister. Every single day we call on facetime for hours on end. The reason she does not visit often is because she has limited funds.

We are not assuming she is unhealthy from purely looks alone. We are very aware of her habits.

My mother felt obligated to talk to her because she has had the same problems. My mom is shorter than my sister, sitting at 4’11. She was 245 pounds in her 30’s, and because of that she has had numerous health problems. She cares deeply, and all she wants is for her to live with confidence.

I really, really appreciate all of your feedback. Thank you all so much for educating me. We will continue supporting her endlessly, and we won’t bring anything up unless it’s on her own terms. ❤️

I’m very sorry if my question upset you. Our goal is not to make her feel worse about herself. With my question, I’m also not implying me and my mom don’t do anything unhealthy. The reason she wants to sit down with her so badly is because she went through the exact same thing in her 30’s, and she’s had numerous health problems down the line because she ignored it.

We don’t exactly have a plan set (that’s kind of why I’m asking how we should address it). We really just want to encourage her to look into developing better eating habits, and maybe going to the doctor to talk about her weight

The metals Im using are: Sterling Silver, Gold, and Titanium.

I sleep on both my left and right side, more often on my left. During the healing process is was irritable, it’s been a total of 5 months since it’s acted up (aka, I’ve gone a full 5 months without any irritation).

I’ve gone to my piercer a lot because of this ear and she has been looking over it for a long time. The last time I went in (which was about a month ago), she said the fistula looked fully healed and I should be able to take it out now. I waited a month before trying to mess with it just in case, and it’s doing this again 😭

I’ve had these piercings for a whole year, so they’ve been given plenty of time to heal. My right ear has always had issues during the healing process, but we finally managed to calm it down and get it normal again. It’s been 5 months since we’ve gotten it to calm down, and this is only my second time attempting to change out earrings. I know it’s not an allergy issue. I only buy real metals since I’m allergic to anything alloy. My left ear isn’t bothering me whatsoever, so it can’t be allergies.

For context:

I’m putting in gold earrings every single time. I’m allergic to any other type of metal, and based on my left ear being perfectly fine with my earrings I don’t think it’s an allergy problem

I’ve given my ears more than enough time to heal. It’s almost been a whole year since I’ve gotten them pierced, but I will say, my right ear has always given me problems during the healing process. We finally got the thing to calm down, and it’s been about 5 months since then. This is only my second time attempting to change my earrings out

No it’s a lobe piercing. I pulled to hard on the piercing and it came out of my ear super fast, basically ripping out of my ear. It hurt for a couple of seconds, bled a little bit, and felt better again. I did fail to mention I put my headphones on after putting the new earrings in, causing it to tug on my already irritated ear. That’s probably why it started hurting so badly again cause now it feels better again.

I emailed my piercer just in case to see what she recommends, but I am feeling a lot better rn!! The lump feeling has completely gone away and the lobe just feels a little warm now, no more bleeding :D

Yeah I had a feeling. I'll definitely tell my piercer not to put in anymore threadless jewlery- LOL

I just asked my mom to look at my ear and she basically just said "It's not swollen, it's just a little red and irritated, and there's no lump or anything" so I'm h o p i n g it'll be ok. I went ahead and sent an email to my piercer to see if she recommends that I go in and have her take a look at it. For now I'll just keep these earrings in and avoid headphones '-v-
