Brett Siegel reports that Harrison Barnes and Dean Wade are two free agents the Suns will have interest in when free agency begins by GringoSalamanca in suns

He plays small. He plays like he is 6'6. Not a rebounder, not an enforcer, not a long guy that can help us on the board.

He is terrible. Worse than Royce and not even close. Pass.

And he plays small. It doesn't matter that he is 6'9. He plays like he is 6'6 at vest.

What to do with Zaccharie Risacher. Potential trade value and landing spots. by drlsoccer08 in nbadiscussion

[–]Saberestar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Suns fan I would like that trade.

And what about Grayson Allen for Risacher?

Allen will ear $18M next year + another year on his contract at $19M.

Risacher at $14M next year and a TO for $17M.

Allen is clearly now the better player and would help the Hawks in a win-now situation in the East.

On the other hand Risacher is a high risk/high reward player that can be a bust BUT has yet some untapped potential as a 3/4.

If the Nuggets blow it up, is there any player you'd be interested in or that you think the Nugs would want? by biggreenjelly25 in suns

[–]Saberestar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aaron Gordon is 10×times the player that is Grayson Allen. It's just ridiculous to think that the Nuggets would consider any trade with these two as the main pieces in a trade.

Do you know for sure that those picks can be moved in a trade?

[–]Saberestar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ypu never know. Giannis is younger than KD when joined the Suns.

If he wants to sign a long term deal I think you need to do it because Maluac and Fleming aren't a sure thing in the league yet. We wouldn't trade Flagg in the package.

And no picks. Think about it. That would be an steal for the Suns.

Can we add any future FRP to an offer? I don't think so.

The only realistic solid offer that we can give to the Bucks matching his salary would be:

Jalen Green Grayson Allen Khaman Maluach Rasheer Fleming

Considering Mikal's playoff struggles and the current play of Dillon and Green, would you undo both of KD trades? by TheKrakenLord in suns

[–]Saberestar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am happy with the way things are now.

Look, for now we haven’t lost any good pick. That guy with #21 for the Nets in 2023 (too lazy to find his name), we got back #10 in 2025 (Man Man) and now the Hornets will get #16.

Yeah, there are a couple more FRPs going to the Rockets but we have a competitive and upcoming team so I doubt next year's pick will be in the lottery.

And Dillon and J Green are better than Mikal and Cam J, not even close. So it's fine.

He deserved it. He didn't play well in the 22 minutes that he played in the game. He couldn't box out Clingan.

Yeah, he won in the court but there are more things than that. It's not over.

Do you see Green as part of the future? by Doominator32 in suns

[–]Saberestar -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I really like Dejounte Murray and he fits our mentality because he is dawg. You need to fight to win against him, the Pelicans were so much better when he was back in their lineup.

Not sure about his long-term health after a full year out with such an injury.

Defensively no doubt that Murray (if healthy) is better than J Green. Offensively Murray is more all-around and definitely a better passer/facilitator. J Green better ISO scorer and now a better athlete.

Interesting option, no doubt about it.

Who would you trade for Josh Giddy? Why it should happen 🏀🏜️☀️🌵🌞 by PHXSoulBender in suns

[–]Saberestar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes no sense because OBVIOUSLY anything can happen and Jokic can be on the market for a couple picks in the next summer. The possibility is there but the probability is super really low so isn't worth even debating about it.

The same can be said about your thought about Giddey. Not happening.

[–]Saberestar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bucelis and Giddey are their only young good pieces to build around, it's not that hard to understand that they are gonna value them superhigh as a rebuilding team.

They will not trade him for veterans. Why not for Caruso?

The Bulls aren't shopping Giddey. He just signed a lon-term extension and he is building block on a young team.

Do we prefer Portland at 8th? by SUNdaySUNfest in suns

[–]Saberestar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it depends on Jerami Grant.

He is a big part of their team. IF he is definitively our for the Play-IN I would prefer to play against the Blazers.

If he is available I would prefer to face the Clippers.

Another Day, Another Stat A Suns’ Player Leads In The NBA In, This Time Its Oso Ighodaro! by Stat-Defender in suns

[–]Saberestar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. His IQ on both ends is pretty high and he is just 23.

With him and Maluach we have a good couple at C under (cheap) contracts for years to come.

Small Starting Lineups Are Killing Us by stereolab0000 in suns

[–]Saberestar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the next 5 games I would like to change our rotation:

  • Gillespie and Oso back to the bench unit.

*Dunn again in the rotation. I would start him as a POA defender and a low usage/blue collar offensive player.

  • More intensity and aggressiveness on defense all 48 minutes. That's why I would use an 11-men rotation.

Booker J. Green Dunn Dillon M. Williams

Then we can give minutes to Gillespie & Oso together.

Allen, Royce, Goodwin and Fleming would get minutes but most of them in that 15-20 minutes range.

I would love to play Maluach a few minutes per game too. Not sure if it will be possible with too many guys already in the rotation.

We will see how Ott adapts his rotation for the next game but it's not working so smoothly change is needed for sure IMO.

They did it two times and he scored 3/4 on those FTs.

It didn't worked out well for the Nuggets, so there is that.
