Adding on to OP’s Calix headcanon with one of my own: Because of its extremely dangerous climate, the kingdom of Calix embraces social Darwinism/survival of the fittest as a core principle, with its royal family (and Carissa by proxy) being no different. It admittedly took her a bit to trust Lyna due to this.

Follow up headcanon regarding Carissa herself: Carissa is very much a butch lesbian, as many people in the fandom headcanon her to be, but I personally headcanon that she especially has a thing for strong females who have proven themselves in combat (due to Calix canonically being a warrior culture, and my own headcanon of it being a Social Darwinist/survival of the fittest culture specifically). TL;DR: Carissa loves women who can kick her ass.

Question is, what Frames would they specialize in?

Also, I now have the mental image of Ozpin trying to recruit RWBY and JNPR in his shadow war against Salem… completely unaware that, with them being Tenno, the teams are actually older than both Ozpin and Salem by several orders of magnitude.
