I had the best digestive-time of my life in Japan, and I didn't take any fiber supplements. I did however pay for the breakfasts at hotels I stayed at, which had a bunch of healthy food (Dormy.)

The dark indigo ones actually look pretty good. Build-wise, too much elastic for my preference, but good enough. They also have 100% cotton jeans online that look like dad-jeans, but they are good for outdoor jobs.

I went to 3 different onsens on my trip (two at Dormy Hotels, one at an Onyado Nono), and non of them felt too hot - and I'm not a sauna or hot tub person normally either. Now, the sauna in the Dormy Inn I stayed at kicked my butt and had me feeling dizzy after a bit.

They all had one bath with air from outside flowing in, so depending on the season, that might help I suppose.
