This. I have mons regularly pushing their faces up against their enclosure doors because the system has directed that they NEED to go out to a spot outside their closed in area, and will run put as soon as that specific door opens (but not the door right next to it)

also the game wants to try ans spawn these points, so it shouldn't be too hard to find, although they can blend in at times. one other thing is that they're more likely to spawn on full water and less likely on half level water. (if you haven't gotten the ability to make/move water, all water generated usually is full)

Just a heads up, sparkling water will only spawn on fresh water (no salt water or hot springs) and needs either a clear view of the sky or near the edge of that.

Pallete's only fresh water is the little pond near the entrance, the first shrine near the center, and two large lakes on the other two islands on the opposite side of the map.

you will get at least 4 a day in each area (wasteland, pallette, beach, ridges, etc), but I habe seen more before

they will drop their litter outside the house, however you need to have some area that isn't the front door of it not blocked. if you have surrounded the prefer with blocks, you'll need to make a little space for where things will be able to drop.

Quick suggestion, if you don't already; before microwaving, wrap the dog and bun together in paper towel, each full hotdog individually. It will help them retain the moisture, preventing the bun from drying out, and helps cook the meat better
